I bought one of these year before last and though it mainly does what it says, I always seemed to still have problems and it took a long time for my system to come back. Installation was easy but took longer than what was stated online. Not that it isnt a good product, because it is, however my neighbor introduced me to a system called Septic security 2000. After reading up on their product, I found that their product claimed to not only bring your system back to life, but to prevent any future problems. I then purchased their system (700 bucks, really fair price), to see if it was the real deal. I had nothing to lose since they have a lifetime backup warranty and money back guarantee policy. Low and behold this system does work. It brought my system back and has prevented additional problems. I just thought I would post this to let people know about this system. February 27,2014 Dear AeroStream, I truly appreciate this opportunity to write about my experience with AeroStream…. Being in the Aerospace Maintenance industry my entire career, I have some very high expectations for customer service and satisfaction requirements with most anything I intend to purchase. It is a real pleasure to share a good experience these days, because they are so few and far between, I’m afraid we’ve become very skeptical. We spent a considerable amount of time (approx. 1 year) investigating the claims and suggested performance results the AeroStream system was calming. This included a few phone calls and emails back and forth with AeroStream technical support. Once we we’re convinced that this was the best option for our situation, we did not hesitate to order our equipment and get it installed. As soon as we placed the order we received an email confirming our purchase and that our system had been shipped. When it arrived it was very well packaged and complete. The provided instruction manual was very clear, and well laid out. Quality of components and equipment was excellent. We were very excited to get our system installed and working so we had our tank pumped out the next day and installed the components according to installation manual and had our tank bubbling within a few hours. Here’s where I started to really recognize what sets some companies apart with well above average customer support by the AeroStream team. Within a couple of weeks of installation one of the AeroStream technical support specialists contacted me, just to see how our system was working and if I had any questions. I was amazed that they actually called me; usually you have to call a toll free number and wait for your call to be answered, just so you can talk to someone that usually sends you to someone else, so this was very refreshing. This level of support continued on as our system proved to be very stubborn and we regularly communicated with the AeroStream team. The technical support team at AeroStream is outstanding, with their knowledge, guidance and quick response times it was a pleasure to work with them. For each concern I had, they responded immediately with plan of action and in some cases additional items to further push our system into recovery. I cannot recall ever having received, this level of customer and technical support on any purchase I’ve ever made!! They really want your system to work for you, and they stand behind it 100%. I want to congratulate! AeroStream, on providing such a high quality product and even more so, for their amazing support staff that made sure we we’re well taken care of and all our of questions were answered, no matter what. I bought this system for my parents who had a failing drain field. Thye were pumping their septic tank every 2 weeks or so. There was so much sludge in the bottom of the tank it could be removed when emptying the tank. The field was obviously plugged with Biomat. My brothers and I easily installed the unit. We thought we would have to at least pump the tank one or two more times before the Aerostream did it's thing. Wrong! the unit began working immediately and we have not pumped the tank since. it has been about 4 months already. We are all very impressed. more

After struggling with septic tank problems for years, I was all but ready to spend the 6-10 thousand dollars to replace my system. After all, the system was nearly 32-years old and had been causing us to frequently pump the tank and to purchase ineffective septic tank remedies, all to no avail. I was very impressed by the test results from numerous government agencies responsible for septic system regulation and installation across the country and in Canada, indicating that the Aero-Stream aerobic system performed as advertised. I was assured that the people at Aero-Stream wanted me to experience a positive outcome with the system installation and its subsequent operation. Installation was easy after I installed an electrical outlet for the pump. I turned the system-on January 21, 2013 and now, within 2-weeks, upon inspecting the system it appears that the function has been converted to an aerobic process as demonstrated by the lack of septic odors. The effluent in the tank has taken on a lighter, more uniform look with no visible solids. The liquid level in the tank is down by nearly 12 inches demonstrating that the leach field is beginning to work as originally designed. I am extremely pleased and encouraged by the rapid remediation of the septic system and the apparent lowering of the effluent level in the tank. I would recommend this installation as a cost-effective alternative to an expensive total system replacement to anyone experiencing problems with their septic system. more

This product works great. In August, 2013, our septic system was in failure and we were told by our local engineer that we needed a new septic system dug. Due to difficulties with our site, this was going to cost in excess of $40,000. For far less than 10% of that cost, we installed the Aero Stream unit as directed and bingo.....we were flowing again. Over a 3 month period,, the entire leach field dried out and our tank runs smoothly and without congestion at all. We were experiencing gurgling drain pipes when we took a shower and even some backup if we took back-to-back showers so I knew a problem existed with the septic tank. I had the tank cleaned out and it did not take long for the problem to return so I knew the problem was my drain field. I saw Aero-Stream on the web and knew I had to try something to mitigate this problem without the crazy expense of digging up and replacing my drain field. I order the product, had the septic cleaned out again and installed the product into the septic. I added a riser and cover over the septic tank to be able to monitor the system and to also get a better installation of the hose, bio-brush and oxygenator tube. I was somewhat skeptical but after two months it was working great. The septic tank still fills to the top but apparently the filed line is taking the over flow.....many kudos on this product!!!! more

The grass over the end of my leach line was too healthy and green for my geography. Four months after installation, the ground is dry and the grass is dead! Conversion of a septic system to aerobic bacteria makes theoretical sense, and actually works in practical reality. more

Water from the drain field was seeping through a vertical rock wall and the soil surface of the drain field was saturated with mositure. Installed system on 3/15/2013, today 6/10/2013 we have very little seepage and a dry drain field! We are very confident that within six months the seepage will be no more! more

All we can say is that Aero-Stream saved our Septic System. WE live on 1/4 acre, small 3 bedroom house with just my husband and I. Ever since we purchased the home in 2007, the toilets gurgled. In 2010 i had been having problems with my drain field for about a year. The water was coming out the end running all over. Also the ground was soggy all along it. I found aero-stream on the internet. I looked for alternative to digging up the yard. These folks had exactly what i was looking for . I installed the areation pump and put some biomat destroying chemical in the system and now after some time it is working as they said it would. My system took a little longer i feel because i waited a long time to take action. Once again i am totally satisfied with the results. Thanks again to Aero-Stream. more

I purchased and installed this two years ago after my septic was failing and was quoted 10-15 thousand dollars to replace. I wanted to give it time before making a comment. I opened the septic for the first time since installing it (which is simple) to have it pumped and can't believe how well it's worked. My septic hasn't given me any problems since putting it in and operates just like a new system. If you are having problems with your septic and thinking this wont work, guess again. I was skeptical but figured I would give it a try. Glad I did. You will not be disappointed. more

after 38 yrs. in my home i was getting my septic pumped 3 times per year at $235/time. six adults living here. have 1/2 acre lot. was told several times by septic co. that i would have to get the lines blown out at $1200 to $1500 to clean up the accumulated bio mat that was slowing down the draining process. over the last few years i have looked online to see if i could find something to clean the septic field that was less expensive. on march 25 2013 i found the aero-stream co. after reading many reviews,almost all of them 5 stars i decided to buy their s3-102 pro series unit. i hooked it up friday march 29 2013 and plugged it in at 7:45pm. the septic odor got very strong. i checked on system at 10am saturday and the septic odor was already gone. at that point i was very confident that i finally had something that was going to work and also save me a lot of money. today is april 19th and i feel confident that i will be seeing a vast improvement in the next few weeks based on my conversations with karl and dave at aero-stream and the reviews i read. i can't say enough about the help and the answers to the questions i got from karl(the co. owner) and dave. not too often you can speak directly to the owner. they also never made you feel that you were bothering them or that they had to hurry and get off the phone. vey impressive. i have several neighbors who have been in their homes for 25 plus years, and i will be telling them about aero-stream for sure. thank you karl,dave, and everyone at aero-stream for your help and a great product that is going to save me thousands. more

We installed our Aero-Stream aeration system over a month ago. We've waited this long before putting in writing anything about the system. We pumped out our septic tank and installed a riser about one week before installation. In the month since installation we have not had any issues. Before Aero-Stream, our septic system was sluggish, we could only do one load of laundry every other day. Running the dishwasher and doing a load of laundry on the same day was out of the question. Flushing a toilet was, at times, a challenge, especially the one closest to the outflow pipe to the septic tank. Doing a load of laundry cause the gurgling in the toilets and doing more than one load of laundry a day would cause a back-up. We had a "sick" septic system. We spent quite a bit of money on chemicals to treat the bio mat build up in the drain field, but they were the one who first mentioned an aeration pump in the septic tank, as did the local septic pumping company. This was a year-long struggle. After I started do some research, I settled on the Aero-System based upon the other comments and recommendations on the web site. While comments and recommendations can be suspect, in this case they are true. Purchasing the Aero-Stream system was the best investment we've made. We were looking to install a new drain field, an expense 3 to 4 times the cost of Aero-Stream. Would we recommend the Aero-Stream system? Absolutely. Our only regret is that we didn't install sooner. This product is almost too good to be true... it is the "real deal" however. The website and the caring technicians will make you an expert on the process and why it works. Our septic system was trouble free for at least 5 decades until it recently refused to accept all the liquid discharge we asked of it. After a pump out we determined the drainage field was plugged. We stopped flushing half the time, showered less, did laundry off site, reluctanly used the dishwasher, and crossed our fingers that the next addition of water wouldn't be refused. This inconvenience, the hand holding from Aero-Stream staff, and the money back guarantee encouraged me to take the plunge. I purchased the system, read the direction, found it easy to install and watched what followed. We nursed the system for a while....especially for the first two days during which the process transforms from anaerobic to aerobic. Purchased the Pro-line from Karl due to the size of our house/field. Installed in Jan/Feb of 2012, after one year of flawless operation, I highly recommend Aerostream. As advertised, it negated the odor, restarted our field and relieved an inordinate amount of stress. We too were offered a new field at roughly $12k-$14k, although unecessary. My wife and I purchased our Aero-Stream system almost 2 years ago. Our septic system was already over 20 yrs old and somewhat undersized. Our leach field didn't seem to be working at all. We had the 1000 gallon tank pumped and then pumped again a few months later. The septic truck had a 1500 gal. tank and filled it up both times because of the runoff back into our tank from the leach field. We finally contacted a septic contractor and were told that we would have to replace the entire system, the tank, the leach field...everything. To the tune of about $14,000! Thankfully we found Aero-Stream. Within a few days we started noticing that the water on top of the tank was clearing up and the smell was gone! Within a week we noticed the water level was going down. By the end of the month our water level was down about two feet, just above the outlet pipe for the leach field. The only time our tank gets full now is when we have some heavy rains, like this past week. We had around 4 to 6 inches of rain which, of course, filled up our leach field and our tank. I took the lid off the tank today and even though it was right at the top, the diffuser was still doing its job. The water was clear and there was no smell. I called Aero-Stream's toll free number today (about 3 pm on a Sunday) and actually got to talk to Karl, the President and CEO of the company. On a SUNDAY! (now that's impressive) I had some questions about the bio-brush and how filthy it was. He explained to me that all of the build up on the bio-brush was pretty bad and wondered if I needed to order another one. Karl told me that the build up is actually the good bacteria that keeps your septic system clean. So I didn't really need to order a new one. My wife and I are thoroughly impressed with Aero-Stream's product and their customer service. We have always been able to get in touch with someone when we've had questions, regardless of what day of the week it is. If you are having trouble with your septic system, try this product! You will NOT be sorry. Installation is easy and the money you will save on having your tank pumped (about $300 a pop where I live) more than pays for the Aero-Stream system.
