Having passed a rigorous septic tank and leach field test, we purchased our home in September of 2005. The previous owner assured us that the septic tank had been pumped in 2004. In the spring of 2006 I moved a six-yard pile of dirt that had been left by the previous owner for a garden. Within two weeks of moving the pile of dirt raw sewage began to pool where the dirt pile had been. I immediately contacted our local septic company and was told, that since the tank was pumped in 2004, that I needed to “shock the system” with “their” chlorine tablets and begin a regimen of Rid-X twice a month for six months – thereafter, Rid-X treatments monthly. That should take care of any “problems.” Over the next four years the sewage ponding became worse and moved from one location to another (depending on the season and rainfall amounts). Contacts with several local wastewater (septic) companies failed to provide any results. Based on the lack of any in-house plumbing drainage problems I was told that the problem was the leach field drain lines, and that they needed replacing – for me, not a satisfactory option. In early 2010 after much internet research and discussion with contacts at both Texas A&M University and Stephen F. Austin State University I had became convinced that the problem was with the bio-mat beneath the leach field drain lines. Further internet research led me to locate the Aero-Stream website in May 2010. After researching and verifying the validity of their claims, and based on their “satisfaction guarantee,” I ordered the Remediator system on May 31 and received the product as advertised on June 4. However, I was not prepared for the surprise that I discovered. Upon excavating the septic tank lid I discovered that a water line ran right over the center of the lid, and that the lid was cracked. Further investigation revealed that the water line was installed during the remodeling of the home in 1992! That meant that the septic tank had not been pumped for at least 18 years! During the pumping of the septic tank it was discovered that not only was the tank smaller than advertised but that due to field drain line outlet configuration that it was impossible to drain the field drain lines or to install the effluent filters. That notwithstanding, (and despite problems trenching in iron-oxide soil) installation of the Aero-System Remediator went by the book, taking only about two hours (including a new lid with risers – no more digging ever). Instructions were comprehensible enough that I had no need to contact either their customer service or technical support departments. A successful installation June 16th left me with an “aerobic system in a septic tank,” using drain lines and a leach field – not some pricey aerobic tank and messy sprinkler system. The raw sewage in the tank is happily being aerated and began to clear after only a few days. The pooling in the leach field immediately began to diminish and stabilize to one location within one week of installation. Pooling was further reduced to two small wet spots within four weeks and almost unnoticeable within six weeks. To say the least, I am most satisfied with the Aero-Stream Remediator system. While their literature indicates complete remediation in twelve to eighteen months, I expect the total remediation time to be much less. If you don’t want to pay the high prices of leach field drain line repairs or the installation of an expensive “aerobic system,” you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by at least trying the Aero-Stream remediation products. Like me, I think that you will be pleasantly surprised and greatly satisfied! more

We bought our twenty year old house about one year ago 7/14/2010

We bought our twenty year old house about one year ago. The septic seemed to be working fine during the end of our first summer here, but during this summer is when we started to notice the problems. I had been hearing gurgling noises in the plumbing that seemed strange to me, but I did'nt really know what caused it. That was nothing compared to what happed when I started cutting the grass after all the rain from the spring season. I was just happily whistling along on my riding mower, when all of a sudden the whole back end of the mower sank into a hole of very dark black sludge. I realized we had a much bigger problem on our hands. I called out the septic cleaning guy to empty the tank, but he said if the leach field is clogged the sink hole will only grow bigger and bigger. So, I got online to research what my choices were, since I did not want to put in a whole new leach field. I found a chemical called Septic-Flow that claimed to send bacteria into the field that would eat away the bio-mat sludge and clear everything up. $350.00 later, I realized that the sink hole was getting worse and I just poured my money down the toilet. I researched some more but was losing faith that I could find a solution other than a new leach field. I stumbled upon the AERO-STREAM and was very excited. (Although I was very excited over the Septic-Flow chemical too : ) I ordered the smaller system, not sure if I should have ordered the larger one but, THREE weeks after install, every drop of water has dried up with no more gurgling in the pipes!!! My husband can't believe how quickly it worked. I am so happy with it, I am ready to become a Company spokesperson because it is such an amazing product that actually lives up to the promises made! I wrote to the Septic-Flow Company and told them how wonderful and quickly the aero-stream solved all our problems! I also took before pictures of the mess and plan on taking some after pictures when the hubby takes the time to fill in the sink hole that was created. We did'nt even empty our tank before installing the product because the customer service rep told us we did'nt have to, but it could delay the results by about a week. Even so, it only took three weeks for our leach field to dry completely up. I can ride my mower over the leach field again! To the person who created this equipment - THANK YOU!!! What an awful lot of headaches you have saved us. This product is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

The aerostream technique has relieved an enormous amount of stress off me and my family. After two years of flushing bacteria down the drains I was fresh right out of all hope and was very skeptical about trying aerostream. I'm anxious to find others that might need some relief. We have been very please so far with our Aero-Stream system The ponding on our septic field is drying and diminishing in size. We are now able to do all our laundry at home, which is a tremendous a relief. I was very doubtful about how this product would help us, and apparently it is working just like the claims in the Aero-Stream literature. This is a great product, and I highly recommend it to anyone having septic problems. Many thanks! more

My 2 sons, their wives, and three children moved back into my home with my wife and me this past year while their escrows closed. Adding this to the two adults that already rent the granny house that shares our septic tank and the fact that this past Winter was an exceptionally wet one makes for a recipe for sanitation disaster. We were experiencing extremely slow drainage, if any, of the toilets and the showers and there was a lot of gurgling sounds. I was calling to get prices on my fourth leach line in the 23 years since I've lived here and looking on the internet for other options when I came across Aero-Stream. I was a little skeptical at first because, quite frankly, it sounded too good to be true. No expensive digging or destroying the beautifully landscaped backyard pool area. Then came the night that I had 6 adults in the house, all sick with intestinal flu, and the toilets were not flushing. This sealed the deal. I ordered the Pro-line unit the next day. I was told that it would probably take 3 weeks or so before I saw any results. It was about a week and a half and the drains were working properly and have ever since. The installation took about 4 hours because a added a riser and lid. It was a much better investment than the real estate that I bought the past few years. The few times that I had to call Aero-Stream, the people on the phone were very helpful, supportive, and pleasant. My neighbor just spent thousands on a new septic system, not me. I tell everybody I know about Aero-Stream and how I saved a fortune. -Jim and Kerry Scheidt, Nipomo, CA more

I have to say i had my doubts but after the hardship my family and i went through BA(before aero-stream)my wife talked me into giving your product a try. And believe me 1400 dollars seemed a lot to chance but after the fact and the great results in less than 60 days not even the money seems a distant memory. Of course the option to pay in installments made it very affordable. My system is operating so well now and the wet spots above ground are gone. My back yard is sanitary again and i'm not ashamed to have back yard party's again. I got my life back at home and more important peace of mind. Keep in mind it has only been around 60 days using your system so just think what 9 months will bring. My wife and i are very pleased. My 2 daughters don't know how to act with no rationing of water when they bath now. Thank you so much. more

In Oct of 2009 I contacted Aero-Stream after having my septic system pumped 4 times over the last 3 years. Everyone who came out only wanted to replace my drain field. I installed the system in about 1.5 hrs. It was very easy to install. It ran for 8 months but did not resolve my problem. Tech support was fantastic, every time I called they provided new ideas. Unfortunately my problem turned out to be a clog just past the d-box. I contacted Don at Aero-Stream and he promptly arranged a refund of my full purchase price. I returned the unit and received a check about 10 days later. I recommend them to everyone I know who might have any issue as customer service and warranty is true to the test. I purchased the system (one larger than recommended) when I was having my system pumped every 3 to 6 months with the system leaking back into the tank as they pumped. When it rained I had puddles in the yard and when it didn't rain the ground remained very soggy and the lawn tractor tires had water coming off them as I mowed. Well after the first 4 months I had to have the septic pumped again but there was not septic smell (working? maybe). I then went about 6 months and had to pump again (ahhh the previous pump guy moved the aerator so it didn't work right, that delays the job). (I live in New England and it has been a very wet 2 years (which is how long I've had the system.) Well I needed to pump again after about 6 or 8 months as I got a backup/clogged main line (winter time). After 1 year I no longer got puddles except in extreme rains, but I was still not confinced. It has now been 2 years, my lawn tractor tires do not even get wet (even after a heavy rain the day before mowing). I get no puddles and while the ground is still soft it is not mushy. I would say that the system definetly works and I would recommend it to my friends. It is pretty easy to install (rent a hammer-drill, worth it) and I never noticed any change in the electric bill either (mine is on 24/7/365days). I figure I have saved at least $20K AWESOME PS. The unit is pretty quite, as in I have to actually listen for it to be sure it's running if I'm in my garage (it is located on the other side of the wall under the window) or if I am more than about 10 feet from it. I waited a long time to review this to be sure to recommend it or not. I DEFINETLY RECOMMEND IT. Support has been great also (they even told me that they would take it back even after a year if I didn't think it was working). more

We have lived at our current residence for 9 years, and have noticed problems with flushing every time we come into the rainy season. I always thought we were going to have to redo our system at what we thought was going to be very expensive, $6000.00 to $8000.00 range It would have to be an aerobic system with all the chemicals and pumps. We just couldn't afford anything like that, we would just have to get by until we saved up to do the whole process. Then one day while surfing the web on septic systems I found Aero-system. Wow, I thought could this be true, will this really work and only $1500. I had to give it a try. And with the guaranty, it couldn't hurt. I also purchased a riser. I far as I can tell it's working. I'll know for sure when we hit the rainy season again. Thanks Karl for your wonderful product. more

My wife and I had a new home built in 2005 and after a couple of years, we began to experience bubbling toilets and complete septic shut down everytime a heavy down pour of rain would come. During the recovery period after a heavy rain, we could not wash any clothes and had to use the bathroom in the farthest location from the septic tank. The winter of 2009 brought with it a lot of rainy days, so this made our septic problems even worst because as the system was trying to recover from one day of heavy rain, it would rain again shortly after. I discovered the Aero-Stream System while surfing the web and after reviewing the testimonials, the money back guarantee and speaking with a customer service rep, I ordered the product and installed it in February 2010. I saw results within two weeks and after about four weeks, the water level in the septic tank dropped below the inlet baffle to its normal level. It has now been six weeks and we have had several heavy rains with no septic problems what so ever. Thank you Aero-Stream for restoring our septic system and saving us a lot of money. Your product and level of customer service is excellent. more

I can't believe Aero-stream isn't better known! 4/12/2010

I can't believe Aero-stream isn't better known! I was very skeptical about this product, but decided with their guarantee and Better Business Bureau rating I had nothing to lose. I was not disappointed. We had seeping effluant, but within 6 weeks the ground was dry even though we had record snow and rain fall. Thanks. more

After living with city water and sewer my whole life, my wife and three kids moved to Cape Coral, FL and purchased a brand new home in August 2005 that was on a well and septic system. Within a year and a half we started to experience bubbling toilets after doing laundry and taking showers. The toilet bubbling quickly escalated into a backup into the shower, even after reducing water usage and installing ultra low flow shower heads. We had the tank pumped and that lasted for about another year until we needed to pump again. The period of pumping requirements increased in frequency to six month and then to four months. We had the tank pumped in late December 2009 and within four weeks the toilets were bubbling and the septic was backing up into the shower again. We looked into a terra lift at a cost of $1700, but with no guarantees. That is when I started doing research on the internet and came across Aero-Stream.com. The testimony from others and the science behind the aerobic remediation seemed to make sense so I did some additional research before purchasing the Aero Stream System. In addition to the system, I purchased a riser because I did not want to drill a hole through the concrete tank cap if it did not work. It has been nine weeks today (4/10/2010) since I had the tank pumped (2/13/2010), installed the riser and Aero Stream system and I have seen definite improvements. The toilets are no longer bubbling and we have had no backups into the shower. The lawn around the tank and drain field are no longer soggy and full of dollar weeds. Great Product!! It definitely did the job. I do not know why aerobic systems are not mandatory. Thanks for offering such a great product! more

So far after 4 months your product appears to working towards the end goal of a properly working system. Although that hasn't happened quite yet I am very encouraged with the visible progress of the system. Relating to referrals: To this point I have referred Ron Debruyne of Evergreen Estates of Woodruff to you as well as the Wisconsin Housing Alliance. I talked with your office in February and encouraged your company to showcase your product to the alliance members at the next meeting or as soon as possible. I see that you are now a member of the WHA that's great. I am confident that many sales will result from this connection. more

I was having surface effluence in the spring wet season in New England, and a couple of times outside of that. I called 5 Septic Servicing Companies to come out for quotes and recommendations. Everything from hyrdi-lift to, low and behold, aeration systems, to complete leach field replacement. Costs were from $2500 to $25,000. Eek! Well, the 5th quoter made the fatal mistake, he was recommendation aeration system and actually used the name Aero-Stream. Next thing I did was look it up. First off, the whole unit cost $1500 less than his one year treatment proposal. Soo, I made the leap and bought my Aero-Stream. This product is phenomenal, period. It resolved my issues with surface effluence, the tank looks clear and there is not even any foul odor when I remove the lid. It's been running for almost a year now, without issue. All I can say is THANK YOU Aero-Stream, you saved me thousands of dollars and revitalized my 20 year old leach field. Kudos to you and keep up the fantastic work. more

I had tried a bacteria product for about 1 1/2 years before trying the Aero-Stream unit 2/15/2010

I had tried a bacteria product for about 1 1/2 years before trying the Aero-Stream unit. After only 5 weeks of continuous use I no longer had a difficulty with odor or ground seepage. My most difficult challenge was to be able to exceed over 2 loads of laundry per day. This also was accomplished and I have been able to wash as many loads of laundry without any ill affects. I would highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing septic problems. Earl Reinhart Illinois more

Our story is much like many of the others here 2/10/2010

WOW!!! Our story is much like many of the others here. For 5 years we have had difficulity with our drain field and always the response from our local septic tank companies was to replace the drain field. I had even gone as far as checking on connecting to the city sewer system. Lots and lots of money. It has been eight weeks now since the installation of our ProLine Kit, and my wife and I could not be happier. Everything in the white papers we have found to be true and the staff at Aero Stream is always available and ready to help or answer questions. When I called I requested only one thing after I purchased, that my wife be able to take a bubble bath. There were no guarantees made by the Aero Stream staff, but they were quite confident they could get her there. She took her first bubble bath in five years last week. I am a satisfied customer and continue to tell locals in Central Florida my experience. THANKS AGAIN!!!! more
