A caring owner would go somewhere else 6/5/2010

They are HORRIBLE! I have only had my puppies for a few months, and that place is a zoo. They are so completely disorganized. My puppy had problems, I went back 4 times and they kept telling me the meds were ready. Each time I returned, they had no idea what I was talkng about. He missed several days of antibotics (which is very dangerous) because of their incompetance. The staff hung up on me twice on the phone after the 4 time I went back. \r \r I just cut my losses and went to Wellington. A breath of fresh air! more

Filthy Hospital, Cruel uncaring, unprofessional staff and doctors stay away 5/15/2010

This Vet Hospital is HORRENDOUS!!!! I cannot believe I have wasted the last several years of care with these heartless, cruel and unprofessional people. I was there today, and I saw Dr. Erica Tramuta. She was the last straw. Beyond the front desk staff, and outrageous prices, they didn't help my cat the first time I went for his Ear infection 2 weeks ago, but this time I had to listen to her berate me, and attack me as though I was an unfit owner who doesn't care for her cat's health. From the moment she walked in the room her bad attitude was overwhelming, and when I actually started to cry because she was so awful, she was like what is your problem? I told her she had a horrible attitude, and a horrendous bedside manner and she actually said, "well you don't have to see me the next time you come" I told her don't worry I won't be back. It took me 2 hours to calm down after the appointment, and I called and demanded my records and told them I would never be back and I would be more

I never had a bad experience there in the entire time I've been there and I've been going there for 7 years! The staff really cares about you and your furry one! But, although I love them all, my favorite doctor there, Dr.Beth Henry, has moved to Wellington Animal Hospital and works together with my other favorite, former Old Marple, Dr.Niggemeyer, at this new incredible hospital. So, I am moving too. But, if you don't have any favorites, Old Marple is really great! more

I never had a bad experience there in the entire time I've been there and I've been going there for 7 years! The staff really cares about you and your furry one! But, although I love them all, my favorite doctor there, Dr.Beth Henry, has moved to Wellington Animal Hospital and works together with my other favorite, former Old Marple, Dr.Niggemeyer, at this new incredible hospital. So, I am moving too. But, if you don't have any favorites, Old Marple is really great! more

Old Marple...not so great... 1/20/2010

Where to start?\r I moved to Delco a few years ago and was sad to leave my old vet but it was just too far to travel back and forth (about an hour)...I am now in the position of looking for a new vet as soon as possible!\r My first encounter was with Dr. Tyson. I brought in one of my dogs who was having an eye issue. He barely looked at the dog, sat at his computer the whole time, didn't make eye contact with me and was extremely dismissive. I was very put off however the practice is close to me and offers 24 hour ER service so I gave it another chance. My next visit I saw Dr. Estes who was very kind and wonderful with my dogs. Unfortunately, she only works part time. \r The charges here are very, very high and all the vets are hit or miss. Dr. Lindsay is very nice as is Dr. Henry. I have always found the Vet techs and front desk staff pleasant.\r That being said I just got a new dog from a shelter and from what I witnessed last week, I will not bring her there nor will I bring back any of more

Old Marple Veterinary Hospital 1/4/2010

Old Marple (Not Dr Tyson specifically) almost killed my cat by 'forgetting to administer pain meds and IV's and xrays for over 5 hours when she was struck by a car. I took her elsewhere and she had pelvic fractures x 3. An orthopedic in Lancaster area treated her and shes ok...but I ended up screaming at them and removing her at 10pm..I waited all thise hours and they never spoke to me, until I got mad 2 hours into the wait...then let me sit again..it wasnt until I said bring me the vet unless she is actually doing CPR on another animal---disgraceful! They had been hit or miss b4, but in an aemergency to be so horrible to people and cats is inexcusable. more

Great expertise. 12/22/2009

For over 15 years we have not had anything but the best experience with Old Marple and specifically Dr. Tyson. We have a cat that someone shot with a 22 that shattered her thigh bone. A local vet said there was so much damage amputation was the only option. We took her to see Dr. Tyson and he said he could fix her leg and he did! 10 years later she does walk with a limp but she has all 4 legs! more

Dr. Tyson and Dr. Niggemeier were very good to our dog Eisenhower. He had a prosthetic ACL placed and is now running around the yard. The staff is very nice and they are open 24 hours a day. I worked as a vet receptionist at this hospital for a bit. I will never bring my dogs back to this place ever again! Dr Tyson and Dr Bowden are by far the worst! This hospital makes lots of money off of stupid people. I was once stupid. So stupid, I took a job there. They only care about the $. For all the money they make, they can't even offer their employees good benefits. It's no wonder the staff is rude and unpleasant. I feel for most of them. They are under paid and over worked. I am now going to take my dogs to a REAL vet. I'm too smart to return to that circus. more

This Vet is ALWAYS jammed packed for getting bad reviews. My experience so far has been good. My dog is now a year old, went there for puppy shots and spading. Will be going back for first year shots and check up. Dr. Shelly is wonderful! I will be asking for her once again. more

Old Marple Vet- stay away 9/27/2009

Horrible!! They had my dog for 12 hours and did nothing to help him. They took X-rays, diagnosed pneumonia, and gave absolutley minimal treatment. He continued to deteriorate the entire time he was there. Nobody returned my calls- for 12 hours...from 12 midnight to 12 noon. (Did I mention the tons of money I spent..?) I went and picked him up and took him elsewhere, where the doctor was stunned that they failed to administer various no- brainer medications and treatments. Please don't take your pet there!!! more
