I took my car to Audi Dallas on Lemmon Ave., Dallas, TX on 3-6-2012 for an oil change. I had been sent a ""we want you back"" offer, so being the loyal Audi customer that I am sc...

Quality and class 2/15/2011

University Park Audi doesn’t let you walk away upset or feeling bad about the money you just spent on service. You recognize the hard work the service guys are putting in to help explain the quality of work that’s put in to your car to make it right: as opposed to a quick fix where you will have to turn around and bring the car back again. The service is prompt as well. They get you in and out with a loaner so you can get back to work. They constantly call you to keep you informed about what is being done to your car and what you approve on being done. You don’t wait around for a couple days waiting on someone to call you to tell you that your car just been sitting in a lot and hasn’t been looked at. I love how they also wash and detail your car upon return to you. It makes you feel good to step in to a new smelling car when you drive off. more

Recommend and trust! 1/5/2011

I really can’t say enough about Audi Dallas and their facility and services. I feel I must mention a stand out by name. Don Lambrecht walked me through the process of getting everything exactly as I wanted and ordering the car from scratch. He greeted me with a hug and handshake. He is incredible. I recommend and trust him completely. more

Exemplary service! 12/30/2010

Convenient to my home, and the staff will fit you in when ever you need to go in. I had an appt scheduled for a different day. I found that I had some time on 12/4 so I thought I would check to see if they could take me. They were so busy, I was sure they were going to tell me to keep my appt for the different day as they were too busy to fit me in without an appt. I was wrong, not only did they fit me in, no questions asked, but they fixed some other little items that I needed done as well. more

Kept to his word 12/28/2010

Brett was excellent to work with. He took the time to talk and listen to us. You can tell that Brett actually cared about us, also he was very honest and he kept to his word on the things he promised to do concerning the car. Even after the sale Brett is very helpful and courteous\r more

Chevrolet service centers! 12/27/2010

University Park Audi is the only dealership auto service center that I like going to. I used to dread going to Chevrolet service centers as I was and did not get the excellent treatment and quality of service work that I get at University Park Audi. You can tell that University Park Audi is very attentive to making sure that their customers are taken care of and satisfied with the service. more

Prompt attention to my car 12/16/2010

I was impressed with the quality of service with my last two visits to Audi. I did not have an appointment, but I was given an brief assessment of the problem with my car. Stephanie had a loaner available for my use until my repairs were completed. The repair work was really good. The had prompt service and paid attention to my needs. I appreciate the great customer service and prompt attention to my car. more

Very friendly service with prompt response to service call and timely completion of the repair. Loaner car is same model as my car. Service rep contacted me as soon as the car was ready. more

Comments on the Service! 11/12/2010

Sidney Stephens was great. She provided me with an accurate estimate before the vehicle was even looked at. She called and provided all the details regarding the service I requested. Jordan was also very informative and helpful during my maintenance. I am now a loyal customer and will continue to return for service. Once it is time to purchase again I will strongly consider University Audi again. I had an over all positive experience. The entire service team was great. I would like to say that I especially appreciate Vic for his knowledge of what was going on with my vehicle and his willingness to work with my schedule. All in all this is just a great team to work with. more

Excellent Service and Great Price! 10/18/2010

I left University Park Audi with a smile on my face. The sales team was wonderful to work with and the price could not be beat. I was treated with respect and dignity. All my questions were answered with detail and precision. I was able to test drive many models to find the correct fit for me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a car! The GM is amazing and he has staffed his facility with wonderful people. All in all I had an awesome car buying experience! more

I love this place! 9/20/2010

I've been going to University Park Audi for several years now and I still receive the same friendly great customer service every time! Every one of my family members bought their cars from this location! Why go elsewhere when you already have a dealership that cares about their customer and salesmen who aren't liars or deceitful! I'm telling you, this is a great dealership with a team of dedicated & hard workers who tries their best to fulfill their customer's satisfaction! I love this place! more

Thank you for making the trip pleasant and quick! 9/20/2010

So many beautiful cars to choose from, I thought I would be making frequent visits due to my indecisiveness but I was wrong! Debra welcomed me with open arms when I first arrived there. She assisted me greatly and knew exactly the type of car I’ve been searching for when I described my lifestyle and personality! She suggested I test drive the new Audi R8 Convertible and I fell right in love with it at first sight! I’m so glad I didn’t spend the entire day at the dealership like I thought I would! Thank you for making the trip pleasant and quick! I love the attention I get when I go cruising in my new vehicle!! Great job University Park Audi!! more

. Full knowledge when it comes to car stuff and financing! 9/7/2010

Went out a bought a red pre-owned 2008 Audi A5 3.2L Prestige last weekend and I’m still happy with the post-purchase service I’ve been receiving. From the clean, friendly environment to the strong professional bonds between the teams, I truly enjoyed my visit at University Park Audi of Dallas! The atmosphere is great, and everyone seems to know exactly what they’re doing. Full knowledge when it comes to car stuff and financing. They have my recommendations for sure! Two thumbs up for me! more

Excellence in service! 8/17/2010

I have officially just been wow’d by the service I got from the fine gentlemen at University Audi. There wasn’t any behind the scenes schemes or unpleasantness the entire time I was on their lot. Everyone was quite nice, gave me no pressure and all seemed to be very in touch with the cars. It was such an immense feelling being handed over the keys to my brand new A5 convertible. Overall the staff and deals here can not be touched and I look forward to coming back for service or future car purchases. more

Phenomenal! 8/17/2010

University Park is phenomenal! I think I can speak for everyone when I say that it is great dealing with smart professionals in the car business. These men and women here were extremely professional and easy to buy from. I came in with a quote from another dealer and they did everything they could to try and match the deal. Thanks to everyone for their great customer service! more

How University Park Audi says Thanks 6/1/2010

About a year ago I fell in love with the new Audi S5 and just had to have one I chose University Park Audi over Boardwalk and DFW Audi because after visiting all three lots, your sales agent Kasey Hunter demonstrated that “Brand Experience” I expect of the German automaker. Because I work hard, I have traditionally worked to pay cash whenever possible. About 13 months ago I went into University Park Audi Dallas (owned by the Sonic Group) and put $45,000. (in cash) down on a pre-order for the new Audi S5. In April ‘08 I saw a limited addition car on the lot and fell in love. The dealership encouraged me to purchase the car and when my original order showed up, I could simply trade the car back in, use the equity left to do future business. So, I cut them a second check for roughly $50,000 additional dollars, and drove the $79,000 2008 RS4 Cabriolet home. Fast forward to October 2008, my original order is ready for pick up. I'm advised by the GM Nashouh ElSadi that because I intend to do future business with the Brand it would be in my best interest to finance the S5 and hang on to the RS4, I listen, put an additional $20,000 down on the $16,000 left from the retainer from the original order and University Audi's finance guy Chris Hanson begins to process of finding me a lender. Well this is about the same time the banks are shutting down. So after a week or two, He comes back with what seemed to be good terms, 5.9% with a Credit Union I have never heard of, Qual Trust Financial. Well an error was made when Chris transferred my original application information to Qualtrust and I did not receive any payment or account information for some 65 days. About 21 days into not receiving any info, I went to the dealership and inquired about the delay. Mr. Henson contacted Qualtrust and they informed him that they had an incorrect mailing address so I provided them with the correct address. Well before I received my first statement the car was pick-up and a payment in full demand letter was sent. University Audi stated that the error was made and I offered to bring the account current same day, but the offer was declined. VW Credit offered no relief. I exhausted all attempts to secure re-financing in that banking climate. So University Audi refused to refund my down and I lost $36,000 and MOST IMMPORTANLY my car and love for the VW Audi experience, as well as, the high esteem in which I hold Kasey Hunter and University Park Audi. In fact, I sort of feel cheated out of what was supposed to be a wonderful experience. That is why I am warning you. I requested that Audi Financial underwrite the loan or find financing for the remaining $38,000. The Audi S5 stickers for $67,000 so, the car should have plenty of equity in it already. As a matter of fact, it was the reason given by Qualtrust for calling in the note. As the Director of Applications for All Mobile Media Corp, I am well aware that extending a financing request for a new auto loan “re-do” is extremely unusual. I am also sensitive to the financial havoc wreaked by the current economy on your industry and company. I was advised, ""Tough Luck"" by University Park Audi and Audi Financial. I have lost $36,00 and no one seemed to care. I was ill advised to enter into financing and then after 3 months, I am RE-advised I have NO financing and No Car. I FEEL SO SCAMMED. To add insult to injury Qualtrust Sold the Car directly to Texas Teachers Credit Union for just over the balanced owed (well under Bluebook) and prevented me from recieving much of any return on the ""auction"". Please Help Make others Aware of what can happen doing business with These Brands. Sincerely, Pros: Sales Staff Cons: Unethical Finace & Management more

You'll be sorry 9/4/2009

driven an audi for years. love the cars. won't ever buy another from UP Audi. they used to offer good service; its why I bought there. now it stinks. I dont know if they have new ownership or what, but its the kind of run around BS you'd expect from a domestic dealer not one who caters to folks buying 60, 70 and 80 thousand dollar cars. the loaners have gotten so bad you'd swear someone went camping in them, or some teenager threwup inside. and they tried to gouge me on service more than once recently - something that never used to happen. I won't be buying another car at UP Audi. Oh, and falazmah, exact same salesperson tried to pull the exact same scam on me. These guys don't understand cultivating lifelong customers and can't be trusted to do the right thing. Pros: audi makes a great car Cons: the dealership is below weak more

Maintenance is also important point to buy a car 6/17/2009

I have an Audi and Lexus. It used to be pleasant experiences to bring my cars to each dealer when my car needed some service. \r \r Yesterday, I brought my Audi to University Park Audi to complain about the service I had last year. I told assistance service guy what happened to my car last year. There was an electric malfunction and they spent 2 days to figure out what is wrong and it was just a bad electric cord under the driver seat causing the warning. At that time they said they needed to take out the seats and took a long time to figure out to search what was wrong. After they fixed the problem, I found the part of seat was broken and the cover of electric cord under the seat was messed up. It is not bad at all since you don't see the broken parts. After I explained these to the assistant, he schedule me to bring my car back this morning so I did. And he said it's not under warrant to fix it since they only fixed the wire under the driver seat and they didn't touch any other parts and it is also long time ago they serviced my car. But I know they did this so they are asking me to pay for the repairs what they did to my car. At least can you be honest? You can not just deny anything that you don't want to deal with. And please don't waste my time if you want to say ""No"", just say so yesterday.\r \r There was a service manager at Audi whom I trusted but he left to another company last year. Now I can not trust this university park audi.\r \r Compare to Audi, it is still pleasant to bring my Lexus for the service. Although I like my Audi, I won't buy another Audi from university park audi since I can not trust maintenance service.\r \r Pros: They used to have a good service manager Cons: He left last year more

Don't Believe That Hot-Head !!!!! It Just Ain't True !!!! 12/5/2007

Well, hmmmm. Having just read the review written by a disgruntled tightwad of sorts against University Park Audi and Chuck Austein, I felt compelled to share a more favorable and accurate review. I have known Chuck Austein on a personal level now for more than 20 years, back in the days when he sold Porche's on LBJ Freeway. Aside from the fact that we are friends, I know him on a professional level and have purchased more than 10 cars from him at multiple dealerships along the way, spanning a 22-year period of time that I have known the man. I have known him to be NOTHING other than kind, professional, respectful, and accommodating in his approach to selling cars, and his personal character is of the highest quality. Simply put, Chuck possesses the highest moral fiber and boasts more than his share of integrity in a field that otherwise has a reputation in the public's eye as being ""sleazy"". He has always gone out of his way to make my interactions with the purchase of a car, whether directly through him or his employees, a more than pleasureable experience. I would not buy a car from anyone else, anytime and I would trust him implicitly with any one of my four children !!! Does this sound like the same man as described by the previous writer? He clearly is a hot-head who has a skewed version of the truth .... you know the type - never happy with anything anyway. In any event, Chuck Austein and University Audi have my utmost respect and sell cars honestly and openly. They are wrongly being held hostage by the inaccurate and misguided posting which couldn't be further from the truth, and I had to offer my this rebuttal. I am hoping that everyone who reads this will at LEAST take pause to consider a more accurate truth from a person who has a long-standing relationship. I would suggest that the disgruntled hot-head had nothing better to do on that day. Kate in Allen. Pros: Only good things to say! more

Worse Car Buying Experience EVER. Gotta Read This! 1/20/2007

A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I went to University Park Audi and talked to Debra Davidson about a Q7; she was NOT friendly. We really liked the car though, and thought we'd decided. The General Manager, Chuck Austein, assured us that he?d match the price of any dealer in Texas. \r \r We knew the options we?d like, and wanted to stay within our price range. Since University Park Audi didn?t have the car on the lot, we spoke to dealers in the area, one of whom had one, and offered it at invoice. \r \r A day later, my wife told Debra that she?d found a car in the area with the right color & equipment, and that it was offered to us at invoice. Debra called back and offered us a price $2,500 above invoice for the same car. When my wife told her that we?d get it elsewhere, Debra rudely told her that she'd already requested the car, and that UP Audi was now the only way to get it! \r \r Shocked, my wife called Chuck directly since he said he?d match any dealer in Texas. Chuck told her that maybe with our budget, we shouldn't be driving an Audi. He said that he does not want to do business with people who are price sensitive, and that we (price-conscious types) are not the types of customers he?d like work with. When my wife protested, he hung up on her mid-sentence!\r \r This is not about price, rather, it?s about Chuck?s base attitude and treatment. Chuck & Debra exemplify the worst in sleazy used car sales people. Having people of this caliber selling Audis reflects poorly on the dealership, its owners and the brand. If this is how he woos people when he?s selling, imagine how they treat you later. \r \r This awful experience has overshadowed the quality of Audi?s products. We were virtually sold on the car until Cheeseball Chuck showed his charms. With so much competition, no one should have to endure this type of abuse. In short: Stay away from University Park Audi; what they lack in honesty and integrity, they make up for in ignorance and belligerence. more
