How University Park Audi says Thanks 6/1/2010

About a year ago I fell in love with the new Audi S5 and just had to have one I chose University Park Audi over Boardwalk and DFW Audi because after visiting all three lots, your sales agent Kasey Hunter demonstrated that “Brand Experience” I expect of the German automaker. Because I work hard, I have traditionally worked to pay cash whenever possible. About 13 months ago I went into University Park Audi Dallas (owned by the Sonic Group) and put $45,000. (in cash) down on a pre-order for the new Audi S5. In April ‘08 I saw a limited addition car on the lot and fell in love. The dealership encouraged me to purchase the car and when my original order showed up, I could simply trade the car back in, use the equity left to do future business. So, I cut them a second check for roughly $50,000 additional dollars, and drove the $79,000 2008 RS4 Cabriolet home. Fast forward to October 2008, my original order is ready for pick up. I'm advised by the GM Nashouh ElSadi that because I intend to do future business with the Brand it would be in my best interest to finance the S5 and hang on to the RS4, I listen, put an additional $20,000 down on the $16,000 left from the retainer from the original order and University Audi's finance guy Chris Hanson begins to process of finding me a lender. Well this is about the same time the banks are shutting down. So after a week or two, He comes back with what seemed to be good terms, 5.9% with a Credit Union I have never heard of, Qual Trust Financial. Well an error was made when Chris transferred my original application information to Qualtrust and I did not receive any payment or account information for some 65 days. About 21 days into not receiving any info, I went to the dealership and inquired about the delay. Mr. Henson contacted Qualtrust and they informed him that they had an incorrect mailing address so I provided them with the correct address. Well before I received my first statement the car was pick-up and a payment in full demand letter was sent. University Audi stated that the error was made and I offered to bring the account current same day, but the offer was declined. VW Credit offered no relief. I exhausted all attempts to secure re-financing in that banking climate. So University Audi refused to refund my down and I lost $36,000 and MOST IMMPORTANLY my car and love for the VW Audi experience, as well as, the high esteem in which I hold Kasey Hunter and University Park Audi. In fact, I sort of feel cheated out of what was supposed to be a wonderful experience. That is why I am warning you. I requested that Audi Financial underwrite the loan or find financing for the remaining $38,000. The Audi S5 stickers for $67,000 so, the car should have plenty of equity in it already. As a matter of fact, it was the reason given by Qualtrust for calling in the note. As the Director of Applications for All Mobile Media Corp, I am well aware that extending a financing request for a new auto loan “re-do” is extremely unusual. I am also sensitive to the financial havoc wreaked by the current economy on your industry and company. I was advised, ""Tough Luck"" by University Park Audi and Audi Financial. I have lost $36,00 and no one seemed to care. I was ill advised to enter into financing and then after 3 months, I am RE-advised I have NO financing and No Car. I FEEL SO SCAMMED. To add insult to injury Qualtrust Sold the Car directly to Texas Teachers Credit Union for just over the balanced owed (well under Bluebook) and prevented me from recieving much of any return on the ""auction"". Please Help Make others Aware of what can happen doing business with These Brands. Sincerely, Pros: Sales Staff Cons: Unethical Finace & Management more
