I'm an elementary teacher. My daughter is really learning so much more than just kicking or self-defense. I like that she stands up for herself more than if she wasn't here taking martial arts. I don't have to ask twice to do things around the house anymore. I like that she is using her manners and respect more. In a few years coming up to the 5th, 6th, 7th grade there's a lot of emotions and hormones going on where I want her to have enough self confidence, physical and emotional strength to handle situations long term. In most public schools character education isn't something that is taught, so its nice that she not only gets it from mom and dad but she gets it at US Elite. When moms come up to me I tell them that US Elite is more than just the physical lessons, they are learning on becoming a whole-confident-leader. Other parents that have their sons or daughters in different karate schools don't say anything beyond the karate class at all, I don't here anything about respect, generosity, and what that child is doing at home to build one's character.
