The BEST Employment Agency in NYC 4/6/2006

Jill and Jean are amazing! I agree with one of the posters who said that many employment/temp agencies tend to forget about you or they promise you interviews and they never come through. Jill and Jean aren't like that at all! I met with Jill and told her what I was looking for and she told me she had a company in mind and got me an interview there right away and I wound up getting a second interview there and I got the job! And Jill secured me more money in this position! I will recomend The Harper Group to friends who are looking for jobs. more

I have gone to so many agencies and not one of them did anything for me until I met with Jill and Jean, they helped me immediately. AWESOME! 3/15/2006

Jill and Jean are THE best! Not the likes of other staffing agencies that give you dry impersonal interviews and dont bother to get to know your personality. In one short meeting, they got me the perfect position in ONE DAY!!! You can't get better than that! They obviously have great connections in the industry and people trust them to match the right candidates for each position. By far the most painless job hunting experience ever. Will use them FOREVER 3/7/2006

In my 5 years in NYC, I have probably used around 20 or so recruiting agencies, all of which bustle you in, make you fill out forms and then just file you away into their candidate pool where your resume collects dust. This is most definitely NOT the case at The Harper Group, however. Jill Rosenfeld is the absolute BEST recruiter I have ever worked with. She's efficient, thorough and a real blast to work with. She has great professional contacts and was able to get me several interviews in a very short amount of time. Great Agency 3/5/2006

Having worked with other staffing agencies, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. I walked into the Harper Group and saw Jill and Jean, a staff of 2 and knew right away that they would put more into helping me find the ideal job. I was right.. Not even a month after having gone to them they helped me land a job I truely wanted, and in a field I really wanted to get into... If anyone asks me, what agency they should use when hunting for a job I would certaintly sent them to the Harper Group. I can't thank you ladies enough!! You walk into The Harper Group and get a sense that they are different from most employment agencies and within seconds Jill and Jean prove it. They put you at ease and make you realize that you not only deserve your dream job, but they will help you find and get it! They take all of the pain out of job hunting and actually make it a pleasurable experience. I immediately trusted that they would take care of me to the point where I stopped working with other recruiters. I had complete faith in them that they would produce and they did! Once I met with Jill, I stopped seeing the other agencies and exclusively worked with The Harper Group. They placed me within one month in a position that I am absolutely thrilled to be working in. The Harper group focused on my long term career goals, and fulfilled them in the most thorough and time efficient manner possible. They devoted their time in finding a working environment that I would be most comfortable in and where I could excel as a professional. The days of the frustrating and complicated job searches are over thanks to Jill and Jean of The Harper Group. I searched for a job for over 2 months before meeting them. Their service is completely personalized. Jill and Jean asked what I was looking for and actually listened ot me, they communicated, they opened up a job market unknown to other agencies in the business. In the first week they set me up on 4 interviews! They promptly followed up with potential employers and with me. I also was very fed up with the typical employment/staffing agencies and I refused to go through another one to be disappointed again. However, Jill had many great job opportunities and was extremely helpful and nice over the phone. Therefore, I agreed to meet with her. She was very attentive and was interested in finding me something that I could make a career out of. I got two interviews the very next day and was hired the next night by one of the companies! She was able to negotiate salary, more than $5,000 what the company was originally offering! She even calls and emails now to check on how I am doing at my job and to make sure I am satisfied. If I ever need to look for a job again, I will definitely be using Jill, she is a pleasure to work with. more

The Best! 2/20/2006

If you're looking for great career advise, great jobs and a great sense of humor this is the place. The Harper Group was so fantastic. As soon as I walked into their offices I knew that they were something special. The offices were calm, beautiful and there was no yelling. Jill worked a very long time with me really getting to know who I was and what I wanted to do. She then told me about 4 jobs she had for me. Lots of agencies had done this, but no one came through. I had a feeling she would. Sure enough I had 2 interviews before I left the office and 3 more when she called me that night. All in all it was a great experience. I Got a Job! 2/19/2006

I absolutely did not want to go to one more agency and be treated like a "piece of meat." When I called the Harper Group and found out they were an agency I really didn't want to go. Jill said that she had been in this business many years and understood my frustration. She suggested I not even make an appointment and look at her website. If I liked her website to call her back. Well, I did. I have never been treated so nicely in an employment agency. I was offered something to drink the moment I walked into this beautiful office, was taken quickly and spent a great deal of time with Jill going over what I wanted not what another counselor wanted me to have.
