I moved to the area this past year and found Splash randomly, The service is great, everytime I am always greeted by a smile at the front door and offered a coffee.

Worst

I was very upset after spending $180 to get my hair colored and trimmed at Splash and having my hair turn out exactly how I didnt want it to.

I only come to this salon because of my stylist Lacy. She is professional and knowledgeable. I have gotten many compliments on my hair. I find in this business that the staff are what makes the salon come to life. It makes a difference to have good staff and they are lucky to have her! more

She is unprofessional, rude, very inexperienced and frankly did not seem like a bright individual. Unfortunately, I was referred to her by a co-worker because I am new to the area and was desperate....not so desperate that I would ever go back again. more

EVERYONE COMMENTS ABOUT MY HAIR! 12/29/2011

I just wanted to take the time to express my thanks to Sharion. I honestly think that she's the only hairstylist that has taken the time to give me a full hilight. I was a little worried at 1st because it was taking a long time, but when it was all done I was shocked at how great it looked. She actually took time to do it right. Normally I get shorted because I have a lot of hair, and it's really long. I was there on Christmas Eve and may have been her last client, but she cared enough to do it right. My hair has NEVER looked this good! Everywhere I go people comment on how pretty my color is. I am very happy with my hair. more

Amazing Salon; Even More Amazing Owner/Stylist! 12/23/2011

While researching several salons online and reading reviews by others, I must admit I was a bit nervous about trying Splash. The majority of comments were positive, but after reading a couple about how rude the owner was, I wasn't sure what I might be getting myself into. The result? JACQUELINE (the owner who had been written about poorly) IS AMAZING. I have never received such a thorough consultation; she is very highly skilled in color and after speaking with her, I honestly was ready to put my hair in her hands. Not only did I receive a free glaze and two hair treatments (the shampoo bowls have massage chairs!) free, the cut and color she gave me was incredible. I was never once treated with anything but respect and genuine kindness. Jacqueline said my hair was ""our hair"" and she wanted to do the very best she could for ""our hair."" She listens well and does exactly what she tells you she's going to do. The salon itself was beautiful, clean and relaxing and the boutique next door, A Drop of Splash, is adorable. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Splash today, mostly due to Jacqueline. I've already re-booked with her and will be seeing her in a few weeks. Talking with Jacqueline is truly like talking to an old friend but when it's time to get down to business, she's all hair! I can't say enough about this salon, its friendly and accommodating staff and the beautiful color and cut I received today. Everyone has the right to his/her opinion, but avoiding Splash and/or Jacqueline due to a couple of negative reviews would definitely not be in one's best interest. I'm already looking forward to going back! more

Wonderful experience. Hair looks best it ever has! 12/22/2011

After an at-home DIY dye job from a box gone bad, I called Splash Salon early the following morning. I came acrossed it here on City Search, and decided to ask for Sharione because of the great reviews. My roots were an orange-ish brown, and the rest of my medium length hair, BLACK. I looked up a picture of Tyra Banks (I'm a similar complexion), and showed it to Sharione when I walked it. I had no idea if I could get my color fixed the way I wanted to. She did a BEAUTIFUL job! It seriously came out looking just like the picture...a bit better, in my opinion. She gave me a $30 conditioning treatment, and my hair has NEVER EVER EVER looked this good! I was so blown away. I will be back for layers after the holidays. If you're looking for a great stylist, who will have you walking out feeling like a million bucks, go here! more

IV'E FINALLY GOT THE COLOR I WANTED! 12/13/2011

I always feel uneasy about big salons. Most times there are normally 5 bad stylists for every good one. Well here's a tip, ask for Sherione. SHE LISTENS & DELIVERS. I wanted diminsion in my color and thats exactly what she gave me...nice even color thats not brassy! I am very happy with my hair. I am so glad they put me with someone experianced. more

Couldn't be happier with my new hair from Splash! 12/13/2011

My experience at Splash Salon was wonderful... I highly recommend this salon! Just moved to the Indianapolis area and after reading all these rave reviews I had to give Splash a try! Elisha did my hair and she was GREAT! She totally transformed my hair and I could not be happier. I'm looking forward to my next appointment! Best Hair Salon in Indy!! 12/9/2011

I absolutely love Splash Hair Salon! I walked into Splash for the first time a little over a year ago and will never visit another salon! Splash is in a central location near the Fashion Mall, and offers a clean and contemporary feel. Splash is the place to go for the perfect cut/color and a little pampering. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Alyssa-Jo, as her work is art ; she is amazing at what she does. Alyssa-Jo's cuts and color are fabulous! Alyssa-Jo is the best at listening to what the client is asking for, taking her time to provide an end-product that is simply gorgeous. I receive compliments on the cut/color of my hair everywhere I go! Alyssa-Jo has recommended several products that I simply can't do without. Two of my favorites are Kerastase Nectar Thermique heat-styling protector and Oribe Creme for Style. Both leave my hair feeling healthier, softer and extremely shiny. If you're looking for the best cut/color, make sure to visit Splash Salon and ask for Alyssa-Jo!! more

Best Color & Extensions Ever!!!! 12/5/2011

Sharione is the best stylist I've ever had for color. How often do you meet a hair stylist that cares about your hair just as much as you do? I went out of town and let a friend talk me into a cut and color with her stylist...wrong move! I called Sharione in tears and on her day off, she came in to arrange for me to get my extensions done. Not once did she ever throw it in my face that I went to another stylist, she just fixed the color and did my extensions without one negative word. Best of all my hair looks like nothing ever even happened to it. No one at work even knows. Sharione is really talented. I'll never let anyone else touch my hair again...ever! more

I have to rave about this place....excited to find Sara at Splash...I have been shopping around and looking for a stylist who listens and is knowledgeable at all aspects of hair. I am like most people who just want their hair to be beautiful and easy to manage. Sara was able to guide me in the right direction for what was best for my hair texture and also my face shape! I appreciated her honestly and technical nature and she was easy to talk to, she wanted me to love my hair and gave me room to talk about my goals for my hair. If you want someone is will take the time to listen and then deliver def give her a call. more

Never, ever, go here! 11/22/2011

I got my hair cut and relaxed and it is literally the worst relaxer I've ever had. I've been getting my hair relaxed for over 5 years, and I take great care of my hair and experience very little to no damage. After getting the relaxer at Splash, however, I've lost HUGE amounts of hair. I have spikey chunks in the front and back where my hair is an inch long. Nothing I do can mask these short pieces, other than wearing a hat. Sadly, my hair is still breaking off and I feel embarrassed about how my hair looks. Usually, my hair is one of my best features, but not after going here. I thought the stylist was very inexperienced and bizzare. She seemed uncomfortable throughout the whole appointment and I had to give her directions at various points because she didn't know what she was doing. I complained to the receptionist right after the appointment because of her inexperience (especially because I requested to see the person with the MOST experience with relaxers) and the crappy haircut. She said that's too bad and didn't address it with me further, or offer to make it better. I hope this helps save someone else from a TERRIBLE haircut and relaxer nightmare. DO NOT go here!!!! more

Stephanie is the BEST hair stylist! 11/11/2011

A few weeks ago, I decided that I was tired of my hair being just plain and wanted to do something drastic so I decided to bleach out my hair and be blonde all over. HUGE mistake! Luckily I made an appointment with Stephanie to correct this problem immediately. She was very professional and knew exactly how to fix it and what I wanted. It was a wonderful experience and I love my hair and I won't go to anybody else now that she has done my hair. It was also wonderful that Stephanie was able to work within my time frame. I am a full time student and she had me out in time to make sure I could make it to my class. My experience was EXCELLENT and I would recommend Splash and Stephanie to anyone. more

Best Hairstylist/Color specialist in Indy 11/9/2011

I loved everything about my experience at Splash! I saw Steph for the ombre look and got exactly what I wanted! The color looks amazing and she was really attentive and listened to what I wanted. I can't wait to go back for a cut and touch up! The atmosphere was comfortable and professional. I have never stayed with a salon/stylist after an appointment. I think I have found a salon/stylist that I will stick with for quite a while! Thank you Steph and Splash for my awesome hair color and overall experience! more

Great Salon, Rude Owner 11/8/2011

While the services, atmosphere, and decor of the upscale Indianapolis-area salon were inviting, the general treatment received by the owner was appalling. Jacqueline was rude, aloof, and incredibly patronizing as I asked questions and tried to make pleasant conversation as she cut my hair (which was uneven, not at all like I had asked for). Although the salon is high quality, the personality and overall soul of the establishment is ruined by such a negative presence. I would rather visit a salon in someone's kitchen rather than experiencing such poor treatment ever again. more

Wonderful Experience 11/2/2011

What a wonderful experience. I HIGHLY recommend this salon. Was pointed there by a friend an absolutely LOVE my hair. Stephanie did my hair and was FABULOUS. She was a wonderful listener to what I wanted and my hair was not only beautiful but healthier as well. The entire experience was very relaxing, from the massaging rinse chairs to the absence of loud music the time flew by. Great salon and wonderful staff! more
