Wow, what a relaxing and healing experience. I went in yesterday to buy a gift certificate for a massage. I ended up setting up an appt for myself to have a pedicure today (in addition to the gift certificate). It's one of the best spontaneous decisions I ever made. When you enter, it's like entering another country - Italy - the warm tones and attention to detail extend a sense of peace and calm immediately. You take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Flowing water, zen-like music, feathery curtains, soft buttery robes, aromatherapy and candles. These are the things that greet your senses. You are treated like a Queen (or King) and you've only walked through the door! You are asked to fill out a form to give them better information about how to take care of you. You are offered a choice of three beverages: Warm ginger-honey tea (home made daily), lemon water or mint water. I tried them all. The tea is soothing and a great start to the visit. I'm escorted to the spa serenity room. Cushioned seats with billowy curtains that separate each seat and offer privacy on a busy day (fortunately I had the room to myself) invite me to rest and relax. On a tour of the facilty, I am impressed with the indoor Reflexology Path - an amazing room created for your own personal journey to healing through your feet. I can't wait to schedule a Reflexology massage. There are 11 massage rooms. There is a ""Couples room"" for joint massage and, for an additional charge, you can enjoy a vino (the spa theme) bath for two. It's your own private oasis to pamper each other. I look forward to trying this as well! And then, there's the staff. Ray and Patsy in particular... you can tell they love their job and the spa itself. Patsy know how to offer heavenly bliss and relief to dry hands and feet. My pedicure (including paraffin dip and masque) left my feet and legs feeling like butter. Bellisima! See for yourself.
Pros: Service, staff, environment, music, decor, location
Cons: Maybe parking, otherwise I can't think of anything
