What's going on??? 9/22/2008

When you first enter Spa Agio you can't help but feel like you are about to embark on a journey of relaxation. The atmosphere is friendly and calm. After checking in you are escorted to a changing room that is nothing more than a bathroom. There is a closet with draping you can change into to but if it's occupied you just stand in front of the small lockers next to the toilet in front of the mirrors over the sink and change. There is one shower in the same area and a little bar next to the door to dry your hair. It is very uncomfortable if there is more than two people utilizing the dressing room/toilets/shower/sinks at one time. I did have one (several) of the best massages I'd ever had by Yoko, but she no longer works there and everyone since is completely mediocre. I am a great massage communicator and have no problem asking for more pressure or to stay on one muscle group longer etc. Even with communication the massages have been frustrating. The reflexology path is great, but I didn't even know about it until after my sixth massage or so. Their new hours are frustrating. Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am hoping they get better massage therapist and are able to keep their doors open. I like the location and want to continue to support them but the quality of massage needs to improve. more
