What's going on??? 9/22/2008

When you first enter Spa Agio you can't help but feel like you are about to embark on a journey of relaxation. The atmosphere is friendly and calm. After checking in you are escorted to a changing room that is nothing more than a bathroom. There is a closet with draping you can change into to but if it's occupied you just stand in front of the small lockers next to the toilet in front of the mirrors over the sink and change. There is one shower in the same area and a little bar next to the door to dry your hair. It is very uncomfortable if there is more than two people utilizing the dressing room/toilets/shower/sinks at one time. I did have one (several) of the best massages I'd ever had by Yoko, but she no longer works there and everyone since is completely mediocre. I am a great massage communicator and have no problem asking for more pressure or to stay on one muscle group longer etc. Even with communication the massages have been frustrating. The reflexology path is great, but I didn't even know about it until after my sixth massage or so. Their new hours are frustrating. Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am hoping they get better massage therapist and are able to keep their doors open. I like the location and want to continue to support them but the quality of massage needs to improve. more

Awesome customer service, ambience and superb satisfaction 7/5/2008

From the moment I stepped into the Spa I was greeted immediately by a cheerful and upbeat staff member who seemed to enjoy and take pride in the services that were being provided. I was offered ginger tea and foot bath that was so soothing and relaxing that I did not want it to end. The massage was heavenly Pros: Excellent service and atmosphere Cons: Unable to visit as much as I would like due to time restraints more

A great spa experience! 2/15/2008

While visiting the Seattle recently, I scheduled a spa treat for myself at Spa Agio. From the moment I entered the spa I felt welcome and comfortable. For the first time ever (in all of my spa experiences) I was actually asked to choose the style a music I wanted to listen to during my treatment. How thoughtful and true to think that each of us relaxes to a different king of music. I am glad they thought to ask. After sipping some tea I was escorted off to the first treat of my spa experience. My service provider actually washed and massaged my feet to get me in the mood for total relaxation. It was awesome. Next was the facial..Because I was uncertain of what facial treatment was most suitable for me, my service provider was happy to evaluate my skin type before the service and make a recommendation on the best one for me. What a relief. After an amazing skin treatment she took the time to write down a list of products that were most suitable for my skin type. more

What a luxurious experience! 1/26/2008

When I first walked into Spa Agio for my facial appointment I realized that all of my previous spa experiences have been significantly sub-par. Pros: Ambience, Highly Skilled Professionals more

Very relaxing spa! 1/22/2008

Spa Agio is possibly the nicest spa I have ever been to! I felt pampered the entire time I was there. As soon as you walk in they offer you either water or some of their fabulous ginger tea. Make sure you try the tea- it tastes great and I believe it?s brewed daily at the spa. You are then given a small chart to fill out & you actually get to pick which relaxing cd you want to hear while you?re receiving your service. (My service was a Brazilian bikini wax, so I needed all the help relaxing I could get). Before my appointment I was given a tour of the locker room (very nice) and told about the other treatments they offer, which I now can not wait to try. Pros: Very friendly staff, great spa services more

Wonderful Spa Experience 1/3/2008

Spa Agio makes you feel relaxed the minute you walk in the door. You are greeted with a friendly smile, soothing water sounds, soft music, and a peaceful decor. When I had my pedicure, I felt very pampered sitting in a recliner chair, with a warm wrap around my neck, as I enjoyed an endless cup of ginger honey tea. After a great foot scrub, calf message and a paraffin dip my feet and legs were very relaxed. My polish and toenails looked great for weeks! As a complimentary gift, I received two nail files and a pair of black sandals to wear home. The staff was courteous and friendly and the service was excellent! I'll go back again. Pros: Friendly Staff, Quality Service, Relaxing Atmosphere more

Say 'ahhhh' at Spaaaa Aaaaagio... 10/18/2007

Wow, what a relaxing and healing experience. I went in yesterday to buy a gift certificate for a massage. I ended up setting up an appt for myself to have a pedicure today (in addition to the gift certificate). It's one of the best spontaneous decisions I ever made. When you enter, it's like entering another country - Italy - the warm tones and attention to detail extend a sense of peace and calm immediately. You take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Flowing water, zen-like music, feathery curtains, soft buttery robes, aromatherapy and candles. These are the things that greet your senses. You are treated like a Queen (or King) and you've only walked through the door! You are asked to fill out a form to give them better information about how to take care of you. You are offered a choice of three beverages: Warm ginger-honey tea (home made daily), lemon water or mint water. I tried them all. The tea is soothing and a great start to the visit. I'm escorted to the spa serenity room. Cushioned seats with billowy curtains that separate each seat and offer privacy on a busy day (fortunately I had the room to myself) invite me to rest and relax. On a tour of the facilty, I am impressed with the indoor Reflexology Path - an amazing room created for your own personal journey to healing through your feet. I can't wait to schedule a Reflexology massage. There are 11 massage rooms. There is a ""Couples room"" for joint massage and, for an additional charge, you can enjoy a vino (the spa theme) bath for two. It's your own private oasis to pamper each other. I look forward to trying this as well! And then, there's the staff. Ray and Patsy in particular... you can tell they love their job and the spa itself. Patsy know how to offer heavenly bliss and relief to dry hands and feet. My pedicure (including paraffin dip and masque) left my feet and legs feeling like butter. Bellisima! See for yourself. Pros: Service, staff, environment, music, decor, location Cons: Maybe parking, otherwise I can't think of anything more

Great service from a lovely spa! 10/1/2007

I had a wonderful experience with Patsy at the new wine-themed Spa Agio. Being a very picky spa-goer, I was pleased with everything about the spa. It has a modern, Asian feel with soothing water sounds and muted colors. Every surface was impectably clean (very important to me!) and I was able to get a Spa Agio pedicure with the best manicurist in town, Patsy, on short notice, which is great for my hectic schedule. Pros: Patsy and the atmosphere Cons: parking at times more

Best pedicure on the Eastside/Seattle area 9/25/2007

Spa Agio is an unbelieveable gem hidden in Redmond at Golds Gym. I got a Champagne Pedicure with Patsy... need I say more? :) I am treated like a queen from the moment I enter the spa, and the ginger lemon tea glass is never empty! Patsy puts a warm wrap around my neck and as I recline back in my comfy recliner, I enjoy lively, friendly conversation from the best manicurist around, who would want more?? My feet leave feeling relaxed and refreshed, and my polish stays on for weeks! The owners of Agio have left no stone unturned and have created the most exquisite spa in the Northwest. Kudos to them for choosing only the best esthetitions, therapists, and manicurists! Pros: atmosphere, staff professionalism and warmth Cons: parking more

Spa Agio - Great experience! Patsy knows toes! :) 9/16/2007

I met Patsy and several of the Spa Agio staff at a Crave Party in Seattle and had such a great experience with my pedicure that I now drive 20 miles to get my spa treatments. While relaxing with a warm flax bag on my neck, and hot tea made fresh with lemon, honey and ginger I received above and beyond warm and friendly conversation, customer care/service and just a rockin' pedicure! I highly recommend it to anyone and will soon be traveling for massage, to walk on the stone reflexology path, to sip the delicious tea and cucumber water. And of course to de-stress from busy Seattle life. Go . . . let Patsy due your toes. She is creative with her color and her upbeat personality will help you unwind and enjoy. You will leave feeling as though you have made a friend, one whom you can relax with, get pampered by and share any good gossip with. :) Pros: You can bring friends, spend the day and have lunch! I love that! more

Best time of my life! 8/15/2007

I almost cancelled my spa day because of a crappy morning. I am SO glad I didn't. From a flat tire to being treated like the biggest star in the world, I couldn't have asked for more. The concierge had passed on the info that I was having a bad day to my esthetician and they surprised me with an extra little treat before my treatment. The sincerity of care and the quality of their service was out of this world wonderful! Perfect customer care & attention to detail. Relaxing atmosphere, lots to look at & great selection in their boutique. I am impressed & was speechless for the rest of the day. I've booked a hot stone massage for next time. I know that I'll probably be jello from there on out. Thanks to all the staff at Spa Agio, you made me feel 150% better! Pros: Fantastic all around spa & staff! Cons: Parking a little rough at times. more

Best massage ever 7/25/2007

I had never experienced a more relaxing environment in my like. I went in to get a deep tissue massage and it was awsome. They have a beautiful locker room that you change into. They give you robe and comfortable slippers. After the massage they have an amazing shower in the locker room. I didn't want it to end. When I left I felt like rubberman. Very relaxing I would definetly recomend it to a friend. more

Rare Find 7/18/2007

I naturally have bad skin, so I have to get a facial about once every 3 weeks to keep my face from exploding with acne. I recently moved up to Seattle and have been trying a whole bunch of different places to find one that I can go to regularly, knowing that they would do a good job every time. So a few months ago I tried this new place, Spa Agio. I went in and the place felt like I had walked into a five star hotel, so I was excited and had a good feeling about it. The facial was one of the best I had ever had, and that says a lot being from LA and going to all the nice spas down there. So to make sure this experience wasn't just a one time deal, I went back a few weeks later and it was awesome just like the first time. I have been going there regularly since then and haven't had a bad experience. more

Best vacation experience ever! 7/17/2007

I was on a business trip in Seattle and wanted to live it up by relaxing on my down time. I heard about Spa Agio through my hotel so I made an appointment for a facial. As soon as I walked into that place it was amazing! The whole ambiance was so relaxing and beautiful. I felt like I was in a fancy resort. The receptionist was really nice and I instantly received great service. I felt like I was being wined and dined. I was escorted to meet Andrea, the lovely girl who did my facial. She was really nice and super helpful. This was one of many facials I had received in my life, but this was by far the best experience I ever had. My face was sooo amazingly soft and refreshed afterward. Andrea was really helpful with walking through the steps of what she was doing and what product that was best to use on my skin. I even bought 2 of the products that were used on me because I loved the results. I wish I could have stayed longer! The next time I go back to Washington, I am making this spa a priority! Thanks Spa Agio! more

Best find in Seattle 7/17/2007

This place is unbelievable. I am usually not a spa person, but my boyfriend was so sweet to get me a gift certificate from this place because one of my friends went there and raved about it to him, telling him he had to take me. So I went for a massage and it just blew me away. The place was clean, beautiful and relaxing. I went in with very low expectations and came out wanting more. This place has changed my feelings towards spas, I don't think I could bring myself to go to any other spa, because I would only have this experience in mind and when they can't live up to Agio's standards I will be very disappointed. more

BEST SPA IN ALL OF SEATTLE!!! 7/17/2007

What can I say except....WOW. I love walking into places like Nordstrom or the Ritz because you know that you'll get unmatched customer service with the attention to detail. Spa Agio is by far the most incredible spa I've been to. My girlfriends and I booked a spa party here for a bridal party for one of our friends. We were pampered from the minute we stepped foot into the spa until we left. There were 7 of us, and none of us had to wait. We had back to back facials and massages, but before our treatments, our therapists did these INCREDIBLE foot soaks in this beautiful sanctuary room with a fireplace, fruit platters, and some sparkling cider. We had lunch catered, and we had amazing salads and sandwiches in the private dining room, which they ordered and took care of completely. After all of our treatments were done and we were all glowing and feeling like jello from relaxation, we took a walk on their reflexology path--I have never seen one inside a spa!! And I'm not talking about a dinky little pathway. It was huge! Although it hurt my feet a little, I was so intrigued by the concept and idea behind it. Definitely an educational experience! If anyone needs some pampering or need ideas for a bridal party, this place is the place to go! My girlfriends and I did a lot of research beforehand, and this was by far the best option we could have ever thought of. Thank you to the staff of Spa Agio!!!! An unforgettable experience... Pros: friendliness, customer service, attention to detail, services, pampering Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE! more

great after a workout 7/14/2007

I was working out at Gold's and decided to try the spa out. I have to say that the massage I received from Georgina was definitely one of the best! She wasn't over agressive like some therapists I had before and she applied the perfect amount of pressure to relieve the tension on my lower back . This experience was definitely one of the most relaxing ones I've had in a long time. Pros: The friendly staff; free valet service; atmosphere Cons: Couldn't get a facial slot...call ahead more

try the couple's package! 7/12/2007

My fiance and I got a couple's treatment with side-by-side massages, body scrubs, and the wine bath in preparation for our wedding next week . It was by far the most incredible spa day we've ever had. We were treated like a king and queen for the day, pampered by two of their amazing massage therapists. The atmosphere is calming, their decor is elegant, and the customer service is unmatched. They catered our lunch for us in between treatments, and we ate in their private dining area in our plush robes. I could not have asked for a better treatment to prepare for my big day, and I feel like I'm glowing! more
