Roto-Rooter in Brentwood Mo. 6/9/2011

I called Roto-Rooter to unclog a kitchen sink drain after an unsuccessful attempt to do it myself. Eric, a Journeyman Plumber and Apprentice showed up on time and worked to unclog 2 different lengths of drain, One was from kitchen to the basement and the other was under the basement floor. They were very careful with my older lead pipes. They were very professional and polite. I would recommend them to all in St. Louis. more

Homeowner 4/8/2011

Roto-Rooter Service: Tuesday, April 5, 2011\r Roto-Rooter has helped us out several times in the past and we have been most grateful. On Tuesday, our undercounter mounted sink which is about a year old had dropped and the disposal which is a couple of years old and about half the size of the original was not working. We called Roto-Rooter and Larry came in and went to work in his quiet efficient manner and said the disposal could not be repaired. There was no reset button and nowhere to fit a tool to unjam it. He picked up a regular unit and installed it, reset the sink and stabilized it, cleaned up the kitchen and left us with something we knew had been repaired and/or replaced and was something we could depend on to work for a long time. I would recommend Roto-Rooter and Larry in particular to anyone needing plumbing work to be done. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 2/12/2011 2/13/2011

Service and timing of answering my problem call. The guy answering the call was friendly and knew his job. We thought we had the problem fixed when he hit roots at 50 ft. He went on further and found a second blockage at about 90 ft. After dumping a washer load of water down the line the backflow of water happened again. he immediately added an extra 50 ft. of cable to his machine and hit a third blockage at about a30 ft. This time the problem was solved. The time the guy was here ended up at about three hours. The guy never gave up. Thanks more

Fast, professional service 2/10/2011

We called Roto-Rooter late in the day when the drain in my basement backed up and started overflowing with sewage. We were planning to leave on vacation the next morning. We called a service person, and he was at our house within a couple hours and spent two hours cleaning the drainage line and the main line to the front yard -- outside in the dark. He explained everything he was going to do ahead of time and then took the time afterward to explain what he found and how to prevent future problems. He also suggested possible options if the problem was not resolved. When we returned from vacation, a week later the same problem happened. We called Roto-Rooter again. The same service person was at our house shortly after and cleared the line again, without charge. The problem seems to be resolved now. We were very happy with the service. more

Roto Rooter 1/28 & 1/29 1/30/2011

We have had horrible sewage back up in our basement. We called Roto Rooter and they had someone there within an hour. The first guy was very nice and professional. He did not know how to fix the problem so he called someone else to come look at it. Which was extremly nice to admit he did not instead of keeping us on the clock and making us pay hundreads of dollars. The second guy came and tried to fix us up but he also could not and called someone else. On the second day, the third guy showed up and worked for hours. He always could not fix the problem because as it turns out is 300 feet away from our home and is the city's fault. He was very helpful and even talked to the Head of Public Words of our city for us. Roto Rooter did clean the pipes out enough for us that we could move back into our home until the city comes out on Monday. We are so thankful Roto Rooter was there for us especially on a weekend! more

Had an appointment set up within 3 hours of going on line. The plumber was there exactly when scheduled, fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. The plumber was polite, neat and knowledgeable. Never thought plumbing could be a pleasant experience! more

Excellent Service and Courteous 9/30/2010

I highly recommend Roto Rooter. They know their business well and are highly trained. My kitchen sink drains were stopped and the bath drain was terribly slow.I placed a service call and the technician, Steve, arrived within the hour. He was courteous,professional and very knowlegable. He listened as I described the issues and then he explained what action he would take to correct the problems. He quoted me pricing, based on the least amount of service that might have to be done. Then he quoted me pricing for an extended repair, should it be required. The end result, within an hour, was the lowest pricing and clear, free-flowing drains. He also took time to speak with me about additional repairs to the pipes in the basement, should I decide to have the repairs done. I cannot say enough good things about Roto Rooter. Stick with the professionals, they are worth every penny! more

Excellent Service and Response 9/2/2010

Today, I woke up to a lovely sewer drain problem with water everywhere in my basement. I have used Roto Rooter in Brentwood before and was very pleased with their service. I did not hesitate to call them and again I was pleased. They had a technician here within 1 1/2 hours and he fixed my problem. I strongly recommend them. more

Great customer service 5/10/2010

We have recurring drain problems due to tree roots, so we have used Roto-Rooter in the past. I booked online, the office called to offer me an earlier appointment which was great. The technician was prompt, friendly and efficient. He informed us about the St. Louis County Lateral Sewer program, and called to see if we were eligible. Our area has a limit on the number of houses that are covered per calendar year, and that number has already been exceeded. He offered several options, and even made some phone calls for us, but at no time did he try to push us into having the work done and paying for it ourselves. He is saving us thousands of dollars, and I really appreciate that! He cleaned up before leaving and assured me that if we have any further problems they will come back. Glen, was very professional and I felt he was very concerned about my problem - a main drain blocked. We called for help at 8:00pm and at 8:45 Glen was here and in the cold working hard and telling me everthing he would be doing and the cost. However at no fault to Glen at 10:30 he said this was not going to work. this was like a bowl of oatmeal, stick your spoon though the oatmeal and back out the hole closes up. made sence at the time. glen said he would have to be back the next day early 8:00am, he had left my house after 11:00pm. Yes he was he the next morning doing everthing he told me. he never gave up and got it done!!!!!! then he cleaned up in my basement, what a guy! totally happy with Glen and roto-rooter. Webster groves I will definitly keep his name and number. Roto-Rooter you better treat him right. Help like Glen is not easy to find or keep. more

Amazing Customer Service Roto-Rooter 2/14/2010

This is not the first time that I used Roto-Rooter but every time I need them they are at my house with in one hour. On Jan 3rd, I gave them a call to come and fix the backup in my basement and they were at my house with in one hour...and that was even a Sunday! The customer service on the phone was wonderful and I couldn't have hoped for a better experince in that situation. The tech that came to my house was very informative and professional and helped us figure out a plan on what we needed to do. I would HIGHLY reccomend them for any of your plumbing needs!! more

I had several drains cleaned, Roto-rooter gave a huge discount for having l=multiple drains in the same service call. The technician was very curteous and careful (he even went as far as wrapping the wheels of his equipment to protect my floors) I was extremely pleased with the service and would recommend roto-rooter to anyone needing plumbing or drain service. more

made one call, in 5minutes was contacted by dispatcher ,Bruce, who told me ""I'm sending Howard out to you home and he should be there with-in 30 min "". Sure enough with-in 30 min., Howard is at my front door. I was very pleased by the courtesy and respect this gentleman showed. I showed Howard the plumbing problem i was experiencing. He diagnost the problem and with-in a few moments explained in detail what all my options were. I was very pleased and very confident with what Howard explained. I gave him the ok and my plumbing issue was resolved in a couple of hours....I should add ,at a very competitive or fair rate. Money well spent 1/24/2010

We had a back-up in the basement shower which from previos experience told us that the trap in the yard was where we should look first and since I don't mess with pipes I called Roto-Rooter as in the past and set up an appointment for the following morning. I received a call apprximately 30 minutes before Glenn arrived and he had the clog fixed in no time. He also suggested that we use their product called Rotro-Rooter pipe shield. He explained how it worked and was very knowledable in his explainations how how the product worked and what he was doing so as to fix our problem. Thanks again Glenn! more

I had a nasty kitchen sink clog. I called Roto-Rooter and Jacob arrived just when I was told he would. He explained the problem and told me how he would fix it, also pointing out that I had some very old lead pipes. He took care of the clog and I was generally satisfied except I later had to tighten the fitting on the trap because it was leaking. more
