We called our regular plumber several times, but they never called us back, so we decided to try Roto- Rooter. They scheduled us very quickly; they sent someone out that evening. The person was friendly, funny and pleasant. The only complaint we have is that we felt as though the clog was in the back of the house (where the clog was occurring), not the main line, which we described in length. After describing this to the gentlemen, he still convinced us that we needed to do our main line, and since he was the ?expert? we took his word for it. This, of course, costs additional monies. The entire time, we felt like it was wrong. Finally, my husband went out to tell him that he was all the way at the other end of the house with his ?snake? and that he wasn?t hitting any clog. Either he was an uneducated plumber or he ?up-sold? us into paying an additional monies in a drain that didn?t even need attention. At the end of the job, he took off our coupon then explained that he couldn?t warranty the work. We were not sure what that meant, but were ready for him to leave. Overall, we had to deal with plumbing issues all week, the person was there for several hours, and by 9pm we were exhausted! The job was completed and done timely, but we felt we were swindled. Even when the gentlemen explained this sweepstakes and review process, he told me they only pick the winners of the sweepstakes from those who send in positive reviews. Like many other people, we are on a budget, and we could have used the additional monies elsewhere.
