As always, the best hair cut in town 10/9/2011

My stylist, Kate, is awesome. She's knowledgeable and willing to take risks when I am, but this time I just wanted a trim (because the cut she gave me last time suits me so well I'm keeping it). And it was a great trim--no little annoying long hairs or uneven sections--and she's always so great to talk with during my visits! The atmosphere is always upbeat too. There's a reason I drive from Newark to Upper Arlington (50 minute drive) for my hair cuts. more

Andrew is wonderful. He's funny, cheerful. Always ready. Professional. And, he is REALLY good at what he does. He always truly wants to be doing what he is doing - you get the sense that he was born to do it. I think he is a real star and I can't wait to see the things he accomplishes in his life. Amazing Experience and Service! 10/4/2011

I can't thank Steven enough for my amazing new hair color. Each day I have at least one person compliment me on my hair. I appreciate all that Steven does to ensure I have the best hair color that makes me feel and look beautiful. His scalp massage during the shampoo part of my service creates the ultimate Aveda experience. The entire Nurtur Salon team is wonderful and always makes me feel welcomed. Wish I wouldn't have come here 10/3/2011

I chose to have a 1st level sylist do my hair because of the appt time i needed. I was fine with the slow long process for my highlights/cut. Not especially pleased with being asked if i even wanted a massage or facial. I said no because I felt it would be inconvenient for her because of the way it was asked not genuinely offered. This is all reason enough that I don't plan to return but the Big reason is that my hair is fried...literally! I mentioned during our discussion at the beginning that I had recently had trouble with my bangs singeing and to be careful with the hairdryer. Well my whole head of hair is singed! In 2 wks since my appt I have worn my hair down, not in ponytail, 2 times. It is awful. I bought some deep conditioner and tried to repair and it still is bad. I don't plan to return or ever recommend to anyone. more

Loved my experience! 10/3/2011

I really appreciate the service and attention that I receive from Leah and the salon in general. They always try to accommodate, even a last minute "add on" pedicure or other service. I love the extended hours and flexibility. Most of all, I now love my hair and how it makes me feel as a woman of "vintage" age. : ) Thanks Nurtur and Leah! more

Always have a great haircut from Kate at Nurtur, but the staff fit me in at the last minute for a brow wax, which was great! Very short wait, and the shampoo is the best!! more

My appointment time got mixed up a bit and I was given a free conditioning treatment because of the mix up. I was totally understanding of the mix up but it was really cool to see the above and beyond service I received. more
