need to learn customer service and how to listen 1/26/2012

i used to be a regular client of Nurtur. i got a "please come back email" with a coupon for 25% off one service, so i though what the heck. bad idea. first, my appointment was at 5, and i got there early (about 4:50). it was 5:10 before my stylest came out to get me. after a lack luster appology, i tried to forget about it. we went over what i had in mind. Apparently "shoulder" length meant "chin" length to her. i know that "it's hair, it grows" but come on! this is at least an inch and a half shorter than i wanted. (my hair was about 3-4 inches past my shoulders) i know everyone has to learn, but maybe learning to listen should be a priority. more

Fabulous as always! 1/25/2012

Once again, my experience at Nurtur was delightful. Leah is absolutely wonderful...so talented, patient, and considerate. From my arrival to departure, I feel that my well being is of utmost concern to all the employees. I appreciate the promptness of my service, and although I can be in and out quickly, I always feel that I have been pampered and that I have received plenty of personal attention. I only wish I needed a haircut more often! more

great salon - awesome stylist 1/23/2012

I love going to see Jen D. at Nurtur salon. The staff was very welcoming given the lousy weather we had that day. Starting off with a hot cup of tea was perfect. Jen is professional yet very personable! She does awesome work with my hair and I am glad I found her. more

My haircut was a spa experience. 1/23/2012

My haircut at Nurtur was a spa experience...I have never before been to a salon where I had a complimentary mini massage before my haircut. I walked out of the salon feeling like I had been to the spa. (And my haircut was great...I've gotten many compliments) more

Leah is a great stylist. She is very personable and makes great recomendations on what you can do with your hair and how it will look when she is finished. She gives you honest feedback when you make suggestions and my hair always looks great when she is finished. more

Poor marketing strategy for Green Science 1/21/2012

I started using your Green Science skin care line July 4, 2011. Within two weeks my skin began to look and feel so much better and just continued to improve. When I came back in to to buy a refill there was no moisturizer. I was told to come back. I waited a few weeks and came back, same deal. It was three trips before I bought the moisturizer and then I bought a couple. The last moisturizer that I bought is at half a jar now and there is none to be had. I hear that it is being "reformulated". When will it be available? Don't know. I love your product, but your marketing management is a dismal failuare. I don't want to keep coming in again and again hoping to purchase moisturizer. And, I don't want to buy another product...green science is what I am using and like. If I have to use another product I will try another product from a company that is more dependable. Your marketing plan needs improvement! more

Highlight and cut 1/19/2012

I am very upset with the service I received at the salon. I wanted to have my hair trimmed. Well, I ended up with a drastic cut. I went back to the salon to see if another stylist could even up my cut from the previous day since I felt it was uneven. I was told I could either have the highlight redone or the cut redone. If I wanted to have both corrected, I would need to pay the difference from the first stylist to the experienced stylist. When I called this morning to say how upset I was, I was repeatedly asked by the manager if I made myself clear as to what I wanted done. I was actually crying. My stylist knew I just wanted a trim. I paid to have it hilighted but after the cut all the hiligth in the back of my head is gone. I will never go back. more

Nurtur the Salon is the best! What other salon can you get a backrub, and a facial or hand massage just for getting your hair done? I love the cleanliness and set up of the whole place. Everyone is very attentive and always friendly. I finally found my permanent hair salon. Love it!!! more

Quality as Always 1/18/2012

I took my son here for his first hair cut with Tiffany. She is so sweet and calming, he barely moved! My mom got her hair cut and styled with Tiffany as well. As always, she was extremely pleased. Lastly, I had a cut and brow wax with Tiffany. She is absolutely the best stylist at Nurtur! more

Great experience 1/17/2012

I, without thinking, scheduled an appointment the afternoon of New Years Eve. I couldn't have picked a better time for a haircut. I was greeted promptly and offered champagne and snacks. It was my first time having my hair cut by Kate and she was wonderful! The conversation flowed easily and I was out the door in an hour with a great haircut and voluminous curls for my night out. I've found my new stylist! more

Hair cut with Kaitlyn 1/17/2012

My experience was great! Kaitlyn takes her time to make sure we agree on the cut and styles my hair the way I want it. I will have to say that my experience with a manicure in December was disappointing. The technician was very nice and did a good job, but the polish was chipping on every finger within a day. I had to remove it and do it myself. more

Wonderful salon experience 1/13/2012

From timely appt. Everything was perfect. Great hair color by Steve. His styling, blow out is the best I have ever had with my shorter curly style hair cut. It is so refreshing to have a stylist who doesn't try to put you in the usual straight blow out style--who actually looks at what looks best on you as an individual and how your hair is cut--to maximize your natural curl and waves. more

Great as always 1/13/2012

Ive been getting my haircut by Jaime here for at least a couple years--I've always had a great experience with her. Jaime is fantastic at what she does. She has an amazing eye for knowing what will look good on her clients and always takes the time before each cut to really listen to what clients want. Shara does my eyebrows and facials. I've never had such consistently great eyebrow waxes as I get with Shara and the facials are even more relaxing than massages I've had elsewhere. more
