Best salon experience I've had! 12/12/2011

I went in just to get my hair trimmed and ended up with a back massage and a hand rub as part of the deal. My stylist really listened to what I wanted a did a great job, and for once I didn't leave a salon hating my hair! To top it off, when I went to check out the price was less than half of what I thought it would be! Over all great experience, this is my new spot! more

Wonderful experience 12/12/2011

This is the third time I have been to Nurtur, and the second time I have worked with the stylist Mariel. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with her. The first time I went in, she styled my hair and did my make-up for a wedding. The second time, she cut 7 inches off of my hair and gave me an adorable new hair style. The rest of the staff is also very welcoming and professional. No complaints from me. more

I was in town over the weekend and had some time to kill so I googled Aveda spas and this one came up so I gave it a try. Steven and Leslie were great. Leslie did my brows wonderfully, exactly how I like them, and Steven did a great job on my blowout. Also both were very pleasant to talk to. Nice facility and I really liked the lay down tables at the hair washing sinks. I would highly recommend this place. more

The hand relief is a tried and true product had purchased as a gift. The packaging for the color conserve conditioner is in a tube which I do not care for so opted not to purchase. Staff was friendly and helpful. more

What a great experience! 12/5/2011

I just moved to Columbus in September and was leery of getting a bad cut, I read all the reviews on yelp and decided to give Nutur a shot. I am so glad Yelp was right! From the call to make the appointment, to the moment I left was a pleasure. I have never walked out of a salon so relaxed and pleased with my cut. Mariel was a joy to talk to and very talented. I went in to Aveda recently because I was emailed two coupons...one was for 25% off a haircut and the other was for a free facial with any hair service. When I went in for the haircut and tried to schedule the facial, they told me i would have to schedule another hair appointment, since they didnt have time to give me a facial that day. So even though i paid for a hair cut, they wanted me to pay again another time to get the facial. this was extremely frustrating for me because i only get a haircut about twice a year and i didnt need another hair appointment. i dont see why they couldnt have just scheduled the free facial for another day. other than this, service was great and i'll be back. just a little ticked about the coupon... theres always strings attached i guess! more

Eye brow waxing 12/3/2011

The Nurtur Salon on Lane Ave is absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxing and the people are so nice. I go to Heidi for my eyebrows and she does the best job. I only go to her because she is so professional and it never hurts. Other people are too rough and I leave with burning red skin. more

Exceptional Service; Great Price 12/2/2011

Anytime I have gone into Nurtur the Salon, I have received fantastic service. The reception staff are welcoming and very informative. Included with the price of a haircut is a mini backrub and a choice of a mini facial or arm and hand massage. If you were to price those items separately, it would be considerably more expensive elsewhere. Allison does my hair very well. She listens carefully and gives great advice. She also is wonderfully gentle with the shampooing, the mini massage, and the mini facial. Speaking of shampooing, clients lay on comfortable tables to get their hair washed. No neck pain here! Visiting this Salon is an absolute treat. more

Busy Day Still A Great Visit 12/1/2011

Scheduled a last-minute appointment unknowingly during Nurtur's big, annual savings/open-house event. There were a ton of people there and I was still treated like a rock star. Leah (great as usual) and other staff, got me in the chair, relaxed, trimmed up and on my way with zero hassle and no delays. If you're not going to Nurtur, you're an f'ing idiot. more

An Experience You Won't Want To Miss 12/1/2011

Nurtur is where superb service still exsists. From the minute you walk in the door with a friendly hello and a smile to knowledgeable product service to special spa like treatment. This is the place to be. It's consistent too. Who doesn't want to be treated with sincere and quality service???? more
