Having just moved to NYC from Europe, my partner and I were finding it very hard to find a place that we liked or a broker we could trust.\r Chris took the time to get to know us, showed us the area and what was available in different price ranges before finding us the perfect place - all without any pushy conversations ""better take it now, it will be gone tomorrow"" and ""have you any idea how quickly things move in New York, what's your price range? You know you have to pay me 15% right?"".\r Anyone looking to not be pushed into a place you don't want to be in, anyone that wants their broker to take the time to find out exactly what they are looking for and anyone that wants a broker that isn't interested in helping you after showing you 4 places - Chris O'Brien of NYLS is your man!\r \r Thanks again Chris!\r \r Richard more

FiDi Master - Ivana Popovic 3/16/2011

After 5 years on the UES, I'm making the move down to the Financial District. Ivana was so helpful in knowing the ins and outs of each building down there - from their management teams to their strengths and shortcomings. Without her help and honesty, we would've been at the mercy of craigslist embellishments. Eek! While it would be nice to avoid using a broker, as most try to do, Ivana's service reminded me that it is sometimes necessary when you want to find THE right place for the right price. Because she had her fingers on the pulse of new availabilities, we were able to be the first app down on a Studio w/HO steal! more

Nemo was an excellent broker. I came to him needing a roommate and an apt in a week. While my move in day was delayed 2 days, Nemo found me a bomb apartment and a bomb blind roommate who i couldn't be happier with. He is punctual, reliable, personable and honest about the apartments that you view. He truly wants to find you the best bet not just make a commission and it shows in the way he deals with clients. He can work with your budget and get you to where you want to live and he is great at responding to millions of calls, texts, and emails, which I definitely sent my fair share of. Amazing Broker, I highly recommend him! x more

Jared Paletti - Review 2/7/2011

My broker, Jared Paletti, did a great job of ensuring that I found the best apartment that fit all of my criteria for a terrific price. I was extremely picky about what I was looking for, but Jared showed me many options and was very patient through the whole process despite many curveballs in my search. He will work very hard until you are completely satisfied with your decision. Three things set him apart from other brokers. First, he will act on your behalf always - he's not trying to sell a to you; he's trying to meet your needs. Next, he is very responsive - he answered literally any question from 6AM to midnight pretty much immediately. Last, and most importantly for me, he is very honest about your search. He won't exaggerate or sugarcoat a listing so that you waste time - he knows the rental landscape very well and he will make sure you make the right choice. more

Great Experience! 1/17/2011

Had a terrific experience with NYLS. My broker, Alex Caballero, has been excellent. When other brokers told me that I wouldn't find what I was looking for in my price point, Alex was able to make it happen. After speaking with him for a few minutes over the phone, he was immediately able to narrow down a list to 2 buildings -- both of which I absolutely loved. After viewing the apartments, I would randomly have additional questions I wanted to ask Alex and each time I called/emailed him, I would receive an immediate response (even on a Sunday night!). I just signed the lease for the apartment I wanted and now Alex is helping me to figure out the best design to go with. Definitely over and beyond the call of duty! I'm so happy that someone referred me to NYLS and Alex.\r \r more

A great real estate agent 1/11/2011

Ande Sedwick at New York Living Solutions really came through for me in finding an apartment in the financial District. The first day I met with her I was able to find a roomate and the apartment that I am now living in. The apartment is unbelievable. It is almost like living in a hotel. It has an indoor pool and amenities like that. I would never have been able to afford the place myself but with the roomate I found through New York Living solutions It was possible. The process was quick and I am just blown away with my apartment. When I saw the ads for Living solutions I figured that it was too good to be true, but for a change I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw in person. I searched for a studio for myself and I could not believe how dumpy the places were that I was being shown. I am so happy that I did not go that route. more
