the world of apt renting is a complex one, it appears. i am now renting my second apt from mcm. seems that tensions run high when it comes to our dwellings, understandably so. indeed some repairs took a little time, but were made to perfection by established co's known to me. but my latest very good experience has me writing... after moving in, i had some noise issues from the adjacent bldg which began only after i was settled. i was upset, but expressed myself, remaining patient. i am not their only tenant, and we all want to be treated as such. i imagined all of the requests for extensions and such that they must deal with daily, and repairs that want immediate attention, and saw both sides of the coin. when a better apt for my needs became vacant, i requested to move. they have gone way out of their way to accommodate me. once thoroughly cleaned and painted, they have paved the way for me to move in on tues, which is a life changer as i work from home. mcm was under no obligation, but have behaved admirably, and i must compliment them for all they've done for me. upon reading previous posts about names that i recognize, i can only say this: barbara and candice may appear stern at times, but if dealt with courteously, are understanding and willing to be helpful. seems to me to be a requirement in their business. melissa is a pro and kind, helpful. the head of maintenence ron is a saint. ernie is a union man who even hung a heavy mirror for me. jesse, a lovely guy just opened the new apt for me to measure within hours of my asking. they are being patient w my work schedule, as well. i could not have hoped for more from them. in closing, i would say that a little good will goes a long way in all aspects of life. to quote george harrison ""the love you take is equal to the love you make""..
