First Time @ Glen Ivy 2/8/2012

Wonderful and relaxing day. Would like Cafe to have stayed open later than 3. more

Beautiful winter day 2/3/2012

First off, we were blessed by the weather! Blue sky, upper 60's, no wind. And then, midweek on a Wednesday, very few people. Too bad for GI, but wonderful for us. We didn't have time for the mud baths this time as there were so many inviting pools. We love to stay a while in each one. This time it was the warm salt water pool, the mineral baths, the lounge pool when the sun was shining down on us, and the jacuzzi overlooking the valley. I don't know of another spa anywhere that offers so many choices, even the expensive ones. Plus we each had a service which lowered the admission price to $18.60. Great day. more

admission / service 1/28/2012

i went to corrona on friday 1/27/12. on 1/26 i was told the admission is $ 35.-- for a senior. getting to the gate i was informed it is $ 50.-- plus tax. i rather went to the beach where i did have some quiet and piece rather listining to all the fat women floating and lounging in and around the pools. $ 50.-- saved and had a nice day. no more glen ivy for 50 bucks. jfk more

Great day 1/26/2012

Turning 50 wasn't something I was looking forward to but be it as it may this was the place to go for such an event. The only thing I would do different would be to skip the grotto. Value was weak. Better at $10. Not $25. Cold too. Suggest those who try it is to walk back through to the first room where you can get warm. more

My Experience at Glen Ivy 1/22/2012

my massage was the best and wish I lived closer to your spa as I would visit once a month just for the massage. I enjoyed my entire day and plan on visiting when I get my next vacation this year towards the summer. I loved it and missed the 2 p.m. aerobics. I guess that process has changed to once a week. Please remember the HTO fitness ladies as you may find several of us like the H20 zumba and aerobics. Best regards, VM more

dissapointed 1/16/2012

Very dissapointed to see the rate hikes after being a long time member. It is nice to have some peace and quiet, but today was a very sad turn out. I'd love to renew my annual membership but almost $500 is rediculous considering I paid $299 only 3 years ago. If it wasn't for the fact I did receive a generous amount of gift cards for Christmas I'd never return. more

happy, ... but 1/16/2012

Fantastic place. Unfortunately the policy of admission free on birthday was cancelled. I think it is short sighted. I took several freinds on their birthday, and they had a blast. We paid for a grotto visit and had lunch. the spa still made money. anyway, hope management reconsiders! Or worst case, they could perhaps charge half off, I don't know but visiting on my birthday was how I discovered this magical place. more

free visit on birthdays 1/12/2012

We were disappointed that on ones birthday it is no longer free unless you purchase a service. If that is the case how about reducing the price of the service. The service is way too expensive compared to the outside. We go many times a year and look forward to the free visit on our birthdays. more

Being organized 1/12/2012

The only disappointing thing was that they had us all ( 4 family members) go to the south building upon check in, only to find out that one of our treatments was not there but at the other end of the property. By the time I walked over to the opposite end of the property, my treatment had to be cut by 10 minutes, which really upset me. They said they would talk to a manager and get back to me, I am still waiting. Thank you Janice Eckstein. We paid in full plus the daily day charges . more

day spa glen ivy experience during the week 1/9/2012

I have been going out to Glen Ivy since the 1980s... and unfortunately, the place is anything but relaxing during the week. Long lines for everything ~ no quiet areas ~ the most desirable no chemical bathing pools always have a long line waiting to take a dip. Shady areas are in inadequate ~ food is very expensive and disappointing. No longer serve the delicious cold cappacinos & veg. sandwiches. Place is like disneyland however; the mud baths are still a plus+ at the end of the day there are lines for the showers. more

Love it here 1/7/2012

My friends and I try to make it here at least 3 to 4 times a year it makes for a relaxing and fun girls day out. I have been going to glen ivy for about 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience. With that being said I just visited on the 2nd of January and was surprised to find out that you no longer offer towels to guests besides the mud and locker room. I was not informed of this prior to our arrival neither it seemed was anyone we spoke with. Only two out of our party of 4 had towels. I wish there would have been more notification of the change on the website. This made for a less that pleasant experiance in that moving from pool to pool my towel never got dry. Im not sure why the change was made and I am hoping that it will be changed back before we return know March. Keep up the good work and bring back the towels! more

Slight disappointment 1/6/2012

I am a member of the spa for several years now, but I just recently found out that they no longer supply towels for anyone. You have to bring your own now. The only time you get a towel is when going into the mud, or when you shower. You also no longer get in free in your birthday (way to make a person feel special). Other than that, the spa is always clean and the staff and food is great. more

Bad Costumer Service 1/6/2012

I bought a gift card for each of my parents as a christmas gift as I'm bying this. Gift cards over the phone I ask the salesperson all kinds of questions and if they needed my parents names for messages she said no they will be taking care of when they arrive, well they didn't get the message nor my money back.. I wouldn't recommend this place there are some better ones out there.. even the manager was very rude when I spoke with her over the phone.. bad costumer service. more

Glen Ivy Spa in Corona 12/27/2011

It was our first time at this spa for our annual ladies retreat at the Holidays. I would say the treatments are good, we enjoyed that part. The customer service (mainly the lack of greeting we received when we checked in), is really lacking. We were given quite the attitude as if we were lucky to be able to enter their spa, which is quite different than any other spa experience we've had to date. Outside of that, the treatments from Club Mud to the Grotto were unique and fun and the spa treatment and therapist was great. It was merely the attitude and lack of a warm friendly first impression that gives this spa a 3 out of 5 for us. more

New confirmation system of text messaging and emails..EXCESSIVE 12/21/2011

I have been treating my family to Christmas eve massages for five years. This year, a new system of confirming appts is text messages and emails. I have received five texts and three emails asking for confirmation. ENOUGH! more

Wonderful and relaxing day. 12/12/2011

My co-worker and I spent a wonderfully enjoyable day at Glen Ivy in Corona on Thursday Dec 8th. We ditch work one or two times a year and go together to just kick back and have a relaxing day. We scheduled our body treatments for the end of the day and left there feeling so good. We are talking about going more often as we enjoy it so very much. more

QUIET! 12/5/2011

I've been enjoying Glen Ivy, Corona for many years now however I have yet to leave for the day and say I actually fully rested my mind because of all the noise of people talking. I've tried to spend more time in the "quiet area" however that is also full of noise. I understand that it's enjoyable to have a day with friends or special someones but can't something be done about the noise level? more

Military Appreciation 11/20/2011

Great experience 11/19/2011

I rave about Glen Ivy and have done so for years. Recent embellishments like the Thanksgiving Flower arranging option was an innovative delight. Keep the trend and the excellence moving forward! See you in April. more

  • The Scene
Steal away to this unpretentious spa to experience the waters that have soothed weary souls since the 1860s. These natural hot springs draw a mostly middle-aged suburban crowd, which means you needn't fret about how last season's swimsuit fits now. Rather than quiet and contemplative, it's more of an upbeat social scene--expect conversations to be struck up all the while as you soak, swim, float and lounge.

    The Services
Admission buys access to the 17 pools and spas on-site, which include the signature red-clay mud bath, a saltwater spa, hot mineral pools and two "champagne" pools--shallow tubs with carbonation-like bubbles floating up from the bottom. Glen Ivy's latest addition is the "Grotto"--an underground treatment area where guests slather on aloe-and-kelp body moisturizer and retreat into the hydrating chamber. Spa treatments and salon services require reservations, but general admission and the Grotto service do not.
