I called because I had a $25 off magnet coupon and my garbage disposal was leaking. I asked for a price quote over the phone but they wouldn't give me one, even though they only have 2 types of garbage disposals. I thought that was a bit odd but, I figured, well I am sure the prices are probably pretty comparable to other places and so had them come that day to install a new one. There was a $43 upfront fee, which is fine, and then the serviceman told me their least expensive garbage disposal was $509.00,,and that was after the $25 coupon was applied. I thought, wow,,,that sounds really expensive, but I am a single gal and don't really know garbage disposal! I thought maybe at the most I would be paying $350? So i agreed because I was already tied in to the $43 fee and like I said before, figured it must be at least pretty comparable to other businesses. I researched this exact disposal online while the tech was putting it in and found one for retail at $90. After I had paid,and the tech had gone, I called Bode Plumbing and asked for a quote for the exact same disposal, which they kindly gave to me. They would have charge only $300 to replace and install the exact same garbage disposal!! Wow!!,,,,I was more than disappointed and learned a very hard lesson that if a service place will not give you a quote over the phone, do NOT assume they have decent prices, even if you do have a $25 off coupon!! I could understand a price increase of maybe $75 more...but $209.00??? DON'T buy your garbage disposal from here,,,it is an outrageous price!!! Mickie McConkey more

I needed an immediate replacement of a hot water heater in one of my rentals. Gary's was already scheduled to come and assess it when it started leaking all over the place (what timing)! Jeremey, their technician, had the foresight to bring a replacement with him even though he did not know the current state of the old one. Overall it wasn't the easiest install, but it turned out perfect. I FULLY RECOMMEND GARY'S !!!!! more

They were prompt, curtious and attentive, however, they were nearly twice the price of their competitor. more

Craig and his assistant (not a plumber's helper, that is a tool for unplugging a toilet) were very friendly and courteous, explaining what the issues were and offering the most cost effective options. When parts were needed that they did not have on their truck a call to the shop got them delivered quickly. more
