Gary's Plumbing & Heating

Gary's Plumbing and Heating have done a number of jobs at my home. They replaced my water heater, they replaced the hot water in the sink, and they replaced my kitchen faucet. All of their work has been superb. They are very courteous, very nice people, both the technicians and the gals in the office. They are quick to come out if you need them. For example, when I needed them to put in my kitchen faucet they were very busy and it was tough for them to fit it in, but they made it out the same day! more

We got extremely prompt service for a small chronic problem. However, I'm kicking myself for not just paying for the diagnosis and putting the job out to bids. It was a moment of weakness when I agreed to have the work done by Gary's. Also, the agreement to pay immediately after completionwas insulting. Instea, there should have bee a discount. more

Tech arrived promptly, accomplished the eval quickly yet completely and went over all he found giving his reasons for why he found a different result from the city and what to look for in the future. more

Everyone kept me informed all along the way, from beginning to the end of the work that was performed and I was very satisfied with the finished products, more

Years ago I used Gary's to do the plumbing on our remodel of our H St. bathroom. The work was good, but the customer service poor. You guys showed up a couple days late and then left after the 1st day because you got a call that a carpet store had flooded. You left my wife and I and our young child without a bathroom for 2 days, no exaggeration. I asked for an explanation and got "we go where the money is." Needless to say I was not impressed. I switched to Sparkey's after that and had nothing but praise. They showed up on time and the price was fair. I tried them again for some maintenance sewer drain cleaning, but got your number. I was hesitant, but figured I would try again. I called to get a rough budgetary number on having my drain cleaned out. It's very straight forward with good access. The total run is about 50 ft. The lady on the phone was nice, but refused to give me any number (even what the base cleanout number is). She had a couple of guys come out to look. While they were both very nice and professional, they were there 5 -7 mins top. They gave one look and said it was going to be $485!! What a joke!! I got charged (and paid) $50 for that 5 min. and that will be the last time your company hears from me. Sincerely, Craig Cooper more

Don't know since they did not fix the problem why the fee was $157.00 for a "diagnostic call" rather than the regular house call you quoted to me when I called you for them to come. I am not clear on that. more

Gary's did a good job (I have plumbing background). I'd have done the job myself but demands of my business made us farm it out to Gary's. We were going out of town and the wife wouldn't tolerate waiting til I got back. Happy wife, happy life! The job was done well but way over-priced and the $39.50 call out fee is ludicrous. Come on! I called Gary and chatted about the work and cost. Nice guy. He cut me a check for some of the cost. Still too much though. Live and learn. So Gary's: good work, you'll pay for it! more

The front office kept us informed as to when the tech was to show. Once the tech was on sight he was thoughtful as to our needs and was efficient with our time. more

I used Gary's Plumbing and Heating, LLC about a month ago for a clogged toilet. I was very pleased with their service. I called them again to replace the water heater I had. They came in and removed the old one and put in a new one. They did all that in just a couple of hours. I would definitely recommend them, and I have. I will use their service again. more

It was great that we were able to get our plumbing issues fixed fast, but it comes at a cost so we would never call them back for general plumbing issues. Only when we are stuck and have no other alternatives would we call Gary's. The great feeling of having our issues taken care of is gutted by the feeling that we are being gouged. more

The service technician was very professional and the work was well done. Wish I'd called Gary's Pluming first. Will be using them from now on. more
