I called Gary's Plumbing and Heating recently to fix my water heater. Their service was fine, everything was great. The price seemed high to me but I haven't had a plumber in 20 years so I don't really know what the go for. The worker was friendly and I enjoyed working with him. I'd recommend them. more

I called Gary's Plumbing and Heating because I thought I needed a new flapper for my toilet. It turned out that I needed a whole new toilet. Their technician arrived on time and was polite and very professional. He replaced the toilet for me and did a great job. He made sure to clean up when he was finished. I think their prices are very fair and I would call them again. I will also recommend them to other people. more

The plumber from Gary's Plumbing and Heating, LLC came out and did what I needed him to do. That was all fine and good until he tried to sell me things I didn't want or need. He wasn't a salesman so when he tried to get me to sign up for this plan or that plan, which I didn't want either one of them, it didn't come out very smooth. He should just stick to doing what he knows, plumbing. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are pushy and I just don't like that at all. more

The two guys who came out from Gary's Plumbing and Heating were very nice and friendly. They did great work as far as that goes. My only issue is with follow up. I was waiting for them to call to see how things went, but they haven't yet. There's still a little bit of a leak downstairs. My husband called to let them know and I guess that they were going to come back out and check on that. It did seem like a lot of money for the work they did, more than I expected anyway. I still have some questions to ask them as well. They said that we have a 9 month guarantee on the new valve they put in, but we didn't get any paper guarantee or anything so I'm kind of wondering about that. I called my bank to see if they had cashed the check, but they haven't even cashed it yet, so I'm not sure what's going on there. more

While the end result service was fine, the way the prices were presented and options were presented left lots to be desired. I simply needed a tune-up of my water heater - a flush of the system and cleaning of the filter I later learned. But the technician presented me with two paths - a completely new system that would have cost thousands or a menu of five service plans, the first one starting at $1,000. Remember, my water heater was having periods of not heating the water consistently, but overall was working well. He told me at that top level I would get their very best work, they would take their time and do all sorts of safety checks. I asked him if I really needed all this, that the water was just occasionally luke-warm. He said probably not, handed me his iPad with five options and price points and said "What one do you want then?" Of course, I had no idea. I just wanted consistent hot water. When I chose the lowest prices option, called the Band-Aid, he really pushed back and wanted to make sure I was certain that was the right choice. Again, how was I to know? I almost asked him to leave but with out of town guests coming in, needed the work done. So I signed for the lowest option - $340 - and 45 minutes later the work was done. As I was paying, he told me I should have this flush done every year. I told him I didn't want to spend $340 that regularly and he said that it would only be half that much and that they often run specials - just ask the person who answers the phone. Looking back, I felt totally taken advantage of. If I had known to ask for a flush and cleaning of the filter, I would have paid much less. And I'm realizing now that there are probably more options available than just the menu he presented to me on the iPad. But I didn't know, he didn't offer any other choices and I needed the work done. Their pricing was deceptive. I wonder how much unnecessary work they charged for over the years by this practice. They say they are a referral based business. Well, I'm telling all my friends to stay away and ca someone else. more

I really could not be happier with the people over at Gary's Plumbing and Heating. I was having something of an emergency and these guys were the only ones that answered my call. They got someone out to my home as fast as they possibly could which I really appreciated. The guy that came out was very professional and I liked that he would put booties on whenever he needed to come into my home. The price was really not bad considering the emergency and how quickly they were able to respond. Would definitely use them again. more

Water damage in our home noted upon return from vacation. Brandon's assessment determined that we did NOT have a broken or leaky pipe. Problems solved: 1) garbage disposal in seconds! Worker informed me that here's a "button" to access, which saved any other measure needed. 2) Re dishwasher hookup, all that was needed was a plastic fitting, which provider put in place. 3)Toilet was unplugged.
