Quality of work seems good, however, not any better than Baker Bros and costs for equivalent work was about 50% higher.

We've been loyal customers of this company for 15 years now and have seen the cost of the renewal of the Frymire Preferred Service contract go up, up, up while the quality and quantity of actual service has gone down and down. The supposed discounts provided over the years have become questionable. We are unhappy with this decline. RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services Inc: Dear customer: thank you for being a longtime, loyal customer. We've changed our service agreement pricing only twice in the last 15 years. Our discounts and priority service remains unchanged. We feel these are substantial benefits. We are sorry that you don't believe our recent service is commensurate with the service agreement you paid for. Is there a more specific concern or question about service? more

Excellent but service delayed 9/13/2014

When my A/C went own in recent 100F weather, Frymire quickly responded and a technician was here in a short time. He was unable to repair it that day due to a frozen coil, and promised that with the purchase of a service contract, it would be repaired on a first-priority basis the next day. I bought the contract but no one called or came the next day, despite my repeated calls to the office. However, the two technicians that came were professional in all ways and completed their work efficiently, at a very reasonable service fee and cost of materials. Four stars given instead of five for the delay in service, otherwise excellent all-round and I will continue to be a customer. more

I had a situation where the AC was leaking into the kitchen ceiling. Everyone that came out to diagnose the problem was very professional and gave me good information. We were loaned 2 window units since we could not run our AC. The team that actually did the work did a great job and communicated throughout the process. I could not be happier with Frymire. more

Frymire responded promptly to a call about an A/C breakdown. They had a service technician out the next day. He quickly identified the problem as a broken fan and installed a new one. Excellent service from knowledgeable and efficient service technician. more

I am pleased, as always, with the service that I have received from Frymire. One thing that I would like to mention. I put my bill on my Visa Card, and had to "sign" 4 or 5 times. Why not go to "chip and pin", where one click of the card is all that is needed. Also, I was not given a receipt for my billing, and have yet to receive same on my email account. In the future, my plans are to "pay by personal check" until you get your credit card house in order. RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services Inc: I'm not sure what sort of problem the technician was having with his credit card swipe but I do apologize for any inconvenience this caused you. I've resent the invoice to your email as well as one through the mail, just in case your spam filter is is blocking the email receipt. Arrived on time to install new AC unit. Unit was installed within the time allocated and once done everything cleaned up very well. They went over everything with me and I am very satisfied. more

Outstanding service 9/8/2014

We have a service policy with you and are we ever glad. Got home from mountain vacation (like in cool) to find that our air conditioning was not functioning ( 82 degrees inside). It was after midnite when we got home so called your office at 8am. You had service rep. here before noon and the crisis was over. In the past we have waited up to two days for other firms to respond to problem. more

Fyrmire answered the phone very quickly and very promptly took down our problem and scheduled a technician to come out. We appreciated the email notifications of who was to come out and the approximate time of his arrival. Tech was polite and service oriented. Will definitely use Frymire in the future. more
