Frymire Service IS Excellence 9/29/2014

I have had Frymire Planned Service on my HVAC for 30 years in a couple of houses. Frymire installed the systems in my current home and has serviced it for 20 years. Alfred is my preferred technician. He is highly skilled and takes pride in his work. If he finds a problem, he fixes it immediately. If he finds a potential future problem, he documents it for close inspection at the next seasonal check and informs me of the possible fix. I like the way he keeps me informed and really cares about my system. more

A/C - Heating Svc. Checkup 9/29/2014

Technician was polite and changed my system filter, and ran a test on the inside/attic air handler, but didn't check the outside unit. My spring 2014 technician checked everything, including washing the outside units coil from the inside out. Wonder why the latest service Tech. didn't??? RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services Inc: Thank you for your review. The technician who performed your Fall tune-up is the same that performed your Spring tune-up. We provide one Air Conditioning, and one Heating tune-up per the agreement. The outdoor unit isn’t part of the heating tune-up therefore we only clean it once a year. We appreciate your business! Bi Annual Maintenance 9/22/2014

Alfred is a great technician. I am a little concerned about a comment. He said there were too many coils in our outside unit for the size of the unit inside. This is the first we have heard of this situation even though we have had our unit serviced several times. We purchased an entire new unit and felt everything was as it should be. Do we need to be concerned? Please let me know. Thanks. more

THE WORSE SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY I called for service on my PowerStar electric waterless heater and was told that the company knew how to fix this model. When the service man arrived he said he had never worked on this model, but I still had to pay him $89.00 for coming out. He said if he did diagnose my problem, I would have to pay $289.00. He said he knew how to work on electric heaters. After the diagnosis, he told me the part number needed, but I had to order it myself. When I ordered the part, I saw the picture of what I was ordering and it did not look like the part I needed. I called his office and asked them to pass this on to the repairman. Later, the repairman called and told me to describe the part to the parts distributor. This I did and had the new part shipped. When the repairman came and attempted to install the part, he could not get it to work. He said there was nothing he could do, but still charged me another $112.00 for his visit. I ended up paying him over $400.00 for nothing. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!! RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services Inc: We received your review and thank you for your letter. We value your feedback. After further discussion with all parties involved, we agree that you did not get any value from our visit on 9/15/14 or 9/19/14. Therefore, we are issuing you a full refund. We have credited your card in the amount of $401.22. We are sincerely sorry that your experience was less than satisfactory. We appreciate your business and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. more

Mike Arnold was the plumber that did the work. He showed me everything he was doing. He cleaned up after the job. The shower works great now. more
