Before coming to Southern States, we contacted their assistant internet sales manager, Anita, about their inventory of Passat TDIs (these are in high demand and most dealerships only have 1-2 on the lot) and to see if we could get a deal on the sticker price listed on-line. She responded immediately and offered a very fair discount off the advertised sticker price. Because of that, we scheduled a test drive and Keith Hutchins was our sales person. He rocked...he gave us a thorough test drive of both the Passat TDI and the Jetta diesel. He was not only knowledgeable about both vehicles, but during the test drive, he had us do various maneuvers to highlight the handling and safety features of the Passat and Jetta. It was not your typical test drive and that was a very good thing. Keith wasn't pushy or arrogant, as we experienced at other dealerships (e.g., Leith VW in Cary).\r

We decided to purchase the VW Passat TDI, but they didn't have the color we wanted on the lot. Even so the Passat TDI is selling like hotcakes everywhere, Keith and Anita worked hard and they were able to find a silver Passat TDI in D.C., that was then delivered to Southern States. We worked with Mitch in financing, who is both friendly, enthusiastic and approachable. Plus, he was able to get the financing we wanted.\r

All in all, everyone at Southern States VW (Keith, Anita, Mitch) were great to work with...I can't say enough good things about them. I encourage you to go there over the other VW dealerships in Raleigh and Cary...at Southern States we got solid information and professionalism.
