New water heater install 12/6/2011

I had a water heater start leaking and needed it replaced. I called on a Monday night around 5pm and had an install of a new tank started at 9am the next day. The installers were fast, friendly and very knowledgeable. The whole install took about an hour and half. We have a simple set up with the tank in an open area of the basement. more

I replaced our old 40-gallon water heater with a new 50-gallon water heater. Matt, the installation guy, arrived on time. Before starting the work, he explained the charge of the installation package and explained the difference between energy-star and non-energy-star water heater. Once I confirmed the package, Matt efficiently completed the job in less than 2 hours. He cleaned up the area around new water heater, and explained how I should pay attention to the water heater. Half-hour later, we got the hot water. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to install a new water heater. more

Water Heater Replacement 11/22/2011

I am very satisfied with the work that The Fast Water Heater Company had done for me. They arrived to my house as they promised. The staff gave me a thorough explanation about what they are going to do and finished replacing a brand new water heater in less than an hour. All costs were explained up front. Then the staff showed me how to turn on the pilot light and how this new water heater works. more

I was very impressed with every aspect of the work Fast Water Heater did for me. The office staff who scheduled the work, as well as the techs who came out to do the work, were all very professional and helpful. They arrived on time, gave me a courtesy call before hand, did the work quickly and well and presented me with a bill that was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend this company! more

unhappy with the price 11/16/2011

They arrived within two hours of my call with exactly the water heater I ordered. Unfortunately since the last time I replaced my heater was 15 years ago I was told I needed several upgrades to meet code even though I have never had any problems. My water heater is in the garage. I was told I needed a drip pan, expansion tank, an extension to the natural gas pipe, a 25 foot drain pipe from the drip pan and an extension of the existing vent pipe on the roof by 3 feet. This cost me an additional $1270 dollars not counting tax. This was quite a bit more than the cost of the water heater. In retrospect I could have done all these things easily done myself. If one is handy at all and the water heater is not difficult to get to I'd seriously recommend doing the installation yourself. more

Water Heater Replacement 11/12/2011

Well knowledge phone person gave me my options and costs to help make a decision on replacing my 10 year old electric water heater with a burnt out heating element. The installers arrived early of the two hour window on the next day, a Sunday, and completed the work in about an hour. Water heater was installed professionally and neatly including upgrades to bring everything to code which included air expansion tank, stand and earthquake straps. All costs were explained up front. Everything went very well. more

I called them first thing in the morning & they were there by 3:00 in the afternoon on the same day. The representative who replaced my water heater explained the entire process & was very friendly and efficient. Only went one morning without hot water thanks to them!!! more

Water Heaters 10/31/2011

I chose a new water heater at Home Depot and they referred me to FAST Water Heater Company for installation. On the day of my appointment Brandon Campbell and Mitch Laras arrived on time, looked over my heater, re-lit the pilot and determined the water heater to be in great shape (although 8 years old). I was prepared to spend the money for a new heater so I was very pleased to end up with only a service call and directions on re-lighting the pilot. It is great to find a business with some integrity, and I will call these guys again when I need service. I highly recommend FAST Water Heater. Thanks guys! more

I called Fast Water heaters in distress, as my water heater was leaking pretty bad. My call was received by a representative (I appreciate talking to people rather than machines at such times) who was patient enough to explain what my options were. He provided me with all the necessary information to be able to make a decision. Once I agreed on the service, they scheduled it promptly again. Their representatives arrived in time, and were courteous. They changed the heater, and explained everything I needed to know about my new heater.\r \r I would highly recommend them for their services. more

I am very grateful to Fast Water Heater Company for their knowledgeable and courteous support during my time of crises.\r My hot water heater went out Saturday evening; by Sunday morning water was running through the garage, under the garage door and down the street. My service provider was at my house in short order and had the new tank up and running in no time.
