They arrived within two hours of my call with exactly the water heater I ordered. Unfortunately since the last time I replaced my heater was 15 years ago I was told I needed several upgrades to meet code even though I have never had any problems. My water heater is in the garage. I was told I needed a drip pan, expansion tank, an extension to the natural gas pipe, a 25 foot drain pipe from the drip pan and an extension of the existing vent pipe on the roof by 3 feet. This cost me an additional $1270 dollars not counting tax. This was quite a bit more than the cost of the water heater. In retrospect I could have done all these things easily done myself. If one is handy at all and the water heater is not difficult to get to I'd seriously recommend doing the installation yourself.
