Curltopia

I had my first experience at Curltopia this past Monday and I must say I loved it!! The decor is beautiful and everyone I met in the salon is very nice. I have been searching for a hair salon that would be able to handle my kinky, thick hair without breaking it off in the process. I found this in Jay and Curltopia! I knew I needed to have my ends trimmed, but I was terrified of what the results would be. I never really had a positive experience in the past with stylists 'trimming' my hair. However, I was pleasantly suprised to say the least. Jay did a fantastic job on my cut without taking off too much length!! I can tell the difference in the way my hair looks and feels. She also did a twistout for me and 3 days later my hair is still soft with nice curl definition. I will DEFINITELY be returning to let Jay work her magic with my hair! more

For the past year and a half Aliah has been part stylist, part therapist as I transitioned from a relaxer to my natural hair. I can honestly say that if it were not for her educating me on haristyle options and techniques, conditioners, moisturizers, etc. I would have abadoned this journey a long time ago. Instead I learned how to work with my hair and I have not looked back since. I regularly get compliments on my hair and questions about who does it. I can't say enough about Aliah! more

I started going to Curltopia about a year ago. I had been wearing extensions for about a year trying to grow my hair out and I finally decided to wear my hair out. more

I found Curltopia by googling 'curly hair' because I was frustrated with the Aveda Salon that I was using. The Aveda salon charged me high dolloar but did not really cater to my curly hair. At Curltopia, I had my first Diva (dry cut), Brittany did a fantastic job. Brittany also did color and highlights for me and, together, we picked out a great color combination. It turned out great. I love the cut and the color. I will definitely go back to Brittany. more

My hair looks great! Brittany did a great job with the color in my hair. I look amazing, well; I looked amazing before, but now even more amazing. She helped me learn more about my hair and what I can do to make my hair keep on looking great. Besides looking fabulous the experience at Curltopia was great. Hair dressers are friendly and really down to earth. The hospitably was great, got offered something to drink a few times while she was doing my hair. The place has a cool vibe to it and it?s comfy and clean. I will defiantly go back for my touch up and advise you give Curltopia a try yourself. more

Curltopia is a real treat! Robin is especially wonderful. She greets you with the biggest smile and twinkle in her eyes ? offers you a beverage and understands what you want and need to be beautiful! She talks to you while performing her magic and makes you so comfortable and happy. The haircuts are always top notch and perfect every time you see her! She is a pro at coloring hair ? I always have such gorgeous highlights from her. She ponders which colors are best with your skin tone and figures out what looks best on you. She never fails to amaze me with her art. It is relaxing, and I feel completely pampered at the hands of Robin. Go see her!! You will keep coming back again and again. Robin makes you feel special. The atmosphere at Curltopia is fun and playful with nice songs playing in the background. They offer all kinds of outstanding products to make your hair shine and be at its best. I highly recommend going to Robin if you want wonderful hair. more

Robin is so awesome - She was suggested to me by my good friend at work, and now, I won't go anywhere else! To quote Robin, I have the straightest hair she has ever seen, and she can still cut it and make it look awesome!!! Thank you Robin!!!! See you in 6 more weeks!!!!! more

I must say my first experience to Curltopia was a pleasant experience, the customer service was top notch. My stylist Jay educated me about the different products they have at the salon that was good for my natural hair type along with the services they offer.
