My first experience with Complete Womens Care couldn't have been better. My appt started on time and Dr. Hardwick-Smith was kind, compassionate and spent a fair amount of time with me. \r

When I became pregnant, I called and made another appointment. Unfortunately, my appointment fell in the week after the Hurricane. When I called to see if the office was open, the recorded message said it was not open. All week, that message was left up even though the office was open. When i finally became desperate to talk with a human, I chose the leave a message with the answering system operator. Suprisingly, the receptionist answered the phone and when I told her about the message left on the phone, she dismissed it as me calling when the office was closed. When I told her I called several times a day at various times, she outright said that wasn't the case. I was shocked and disappointed by the attitude. I asked when i could come in to get an appointment and she put me on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up thinking she forgot me. I called back the next day to try and get a different receptionist and an appointment. I got an appointment, but it was scheduled two weeks out. The appointment was later cancelled by the office because Dr. Hardwick-Smith was going to be in surgery. I asked to make another appointment for my first OB appointment and the receptionist said that Dr. H-S does not see her new OB people anyway, it was the Nurse Practitioner who would be seeing me and she didn't know why I was scheduled with Dr. H-S in the first place. So, I asked to come in my appointment day to see the NP and she said the next available appointment would be another 5 weeks!!!!!!! I will be 14 weeks pregnant by then and have never seen a doctor. I told the receptionist that I was not ok with that because I have had daily bleeding and she just said she was sorry, but that is the next available appointment. I am scared and feel abandoned by this group.
Pros: If you can get an appointment, there is little wait time
Cons: Office staff, lack of communication between staff and patients, no appts available in a reasonable time
