Commonwealth Kia - The absolute best 5/2/2012

Bob McLean and Shaun Berryman must have to go the the Chiropractor every day for bending over backwards for their customers! Just purchased a Sorento (which I love) and they could not possibly have done a better job. There was no pressure and Bob took time to show me every detail of the car and has followed up numerous times to make sure everything is going OK. The service mananger has even called to say ""Welcome to the Commonwealth Kia family"" ! I will tell everyone looking for a Kia or any other vehicle to go see Bob and Shaun! more

I was looking to lease a Chevy Cruze. I negotiated with 2 other dealerships and came down to what I thought was me best pricing. Just before I was about to head my local dealer, I respond to Commonwealth because they had sent me an e-mail. After one call, Commonwealth they put me into a better car for the same money. We signed papers that afternoon. more

I bought my car in Sept of 2011 from Commonwealth Honda in Lawrence MA and was very happy with the purchase. I went back for my first service of just a simple oil change and they said it was going to take 40 minutes...it ended up only being 25 that I had to wait so it was great! I am still happy with choosing HONDA more

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM COMMONWEALTH MOTORS IN LAWRENCE!!! WE BOUGHT MY HUSBAND'S VEHICLE FROM THEM ALMOST 8 WEEKS AGO AND ASKED FOR BRONZE STAR PLATES WHICH HE IS ENTITLED TO FOR HIS SERVICE IN IRAQ. WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR THEM!!! THEY WERE GIVEN ALL THE DOCUMENTATION NEEDED WE PAID ALL THEIR RIDICULOUS FEE'S INCLUDING A $45 RUNNER FEE WHICH SHOULD HAVE SECURED US THE PLATES THE SAME DAY MIND YOU! THE BOSTON RMV OFFICE WHO DEALS SOLELY WITH SPECIALTY PLATES AND IS LITERALLY A ONE PERSON OPERATION HAS NO RECEIPT OF ANY APPLICATION BEING LODGED, ANY PENDING APPLICATION IN THEIR SYSTEM AND HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF THEM EVER BEING APPLIED FOR! I'VE BEEN HUNG UP ON MULTIPLE TIMES INCLUDING BY THE OWNER OF COMMONWEALTH MOTORS CHARLIE DAHER WHO YELLED AT ME CALLING ME A PEST BECAUSE I'M CALLING TO FIND OUT WHERE MY PLATES ARE AND WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON WITH THEM!! HE STATED THAT THEY'RE NOT TRYING TO SCREW US THAT THINGS TAKE TIME YET THE LADY WHO'S JOB IT IS AT THE RMV OFFICE SAID IT TAKES A WEEK MAX!!!! AFTER BEING CHARGED ALMOST $200.00 IN FEES FOR REGISTRATION ( KEEP IN MIND BRONZE STAR PLATES HAVE NO FEES WHATSOEVER ASSOCIATED WITH THEM AND A REGULAR PLATE IS ONLY $50 WHICH INCLUDES THE PLATE AND 1 YEARS REGISTRATION) RUNNER'S FEE'S AND WHATEVER ELSE THEY ADDED ON TO THAT, ALL I HAVE TO SHOW FOR IT IS A HEADACHE AND NO PLATES!!! OTHER ISSUES WE INCURRED WE'RE THEIR ADVERTISED PRICES WERE NOT INCLUDING THE $2000 CASH OR TRADE. THEIR CLAUSE DOWN THE BOTTOM OF THE LISTING STATES SOME VEHICLES NOT THIS VEHICLE OR ALL VEHICLES BUT SOME!! THEIR STAFF AREN'T ALWAYS HELPFUL OR HONEST, THEY'RE PUSHY, RUDE AND JUST WANT TO MAKE A SALE AND GET YOU OUT THE DOOR SO THEY CAN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PERSON AND MAKE THEIR COMMISSION OR WHATEVER IT IS THEY GET! MY HUSBAND IS A DISTINGUISHED MEMBER OF THE U.S. ARMY NATIONAL GUARD HE'S RECEIVED MULTIPLE COMMENDATIONS FOR THE 4 TOURS HE'S DONE INCLUDING A PURPLE HEART AND 2 BRONZE STARS WITH VALOR AFTER HE WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD DURING HIS SECOND TOUR. HE JUST RETURNED HOME FROM AFGHANISTAN 4 WEEKS AGO AND DOESN'T NEED THESE ISSUES!!!!!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH COMMONWEALTH MOTORS IT'S NOT WORTH IT!! Went from Meh to Good! 3/26/2012

In all honesty, if you asked me a couple months ago I probably wouldn't be favorable but as I get in my car every day I am thankful that they had it in stock, exactly what I was looking for. There were some bumps in the road (no pun intended) during the purchase process, the original sales guy wasn't the greatest help at all, but we did get to meet with another man who was excellent! He made sure we understood EVERY thing we needed to know about the car and any benefits they offer. Yes, I would probably shop here again, and I do appreciate that they did what they could to make things right. more

Leased a Honda Pilot over the President's Day weekend in 2012. The whole experience was painless. We had a lot of questions that were immediately answered. This Rating is based on the wonderful treatment my husband and I have received at your chevy dealership recently. It started with your service team Steve Brajak (sp) recommended your dealership service department to me when he had heard from my father all the problems I was having with my 2009 Saturn Aura. I bought the Saturn at Saturn of Lowell, once Saturn was no more they sent my service to Lannon Chevy of Lowell. I had the Aura in the Lannon dealership 9 times for the same electrical type problem. Steve told me he was confident commonwealth could fix my car. Unfortunately, although they tried several times they were unable to solve my problem. This had become a safety issue since the car would lose power, this was especially difficult when it did this on the highway. Doug Niles stepped in and tried to contact General Motors about my problem and what could they do to help me since it appeared I would have to buy a new car. Unfortunately General Motors does not stand behind their several thousand dollar product even though it was still under warranty. I purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze and I love it. I do want to applaud Steve Brajak, Paul Hickey, Adam Tsoukaris, and Doug Niles of the service department. I also would like to applaud Jim Kowalik, Richie Pulsifer and Jamie DiMarie of the sales team for bending over backwards to help me in this difficult situation. As much as I hate buying a car this was indeed my best experience and all my sales and services will be done at commonwealth Chevy. So please let it be known that your chevy sales and service team are fantastic. more

This was my first time leasing a car and I have been extremely happy with the entire process. I received an amazing price on the lease and was fully supported throughout my decision-making process. The sales representative was very helpful and helped me find the right color for the car and when it came in he called me right away. I was informed me of everything I needed to know about leasing a car. Everyone at the dealership was friendly! I am very happy with my purchase.It was a very easy and painless process and a lot less intimidating than I thought it would be in the first place. more

We recently purchased our vehicle from a salesman by the name John Thompson. He was extremely friendly and polite and very knowledgeable with the vehicle information. He walked us through all the vehicle information and took the time to sit with me when I picked up the vehicle and showed me everything step by step. We really enjoyed working with him.
