Bride Beautiful

I got my wedding gown and bridesmaids from Bride Beautiful and I could not ask for a better experience. The consultants are very well trained and very helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone! They have great prices and a huge selection. Also all of their wedding dresses are displayed on mannequins, which makes it quick and easy to browse the store. more

I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk associate. I informed her that I only wanted to browse, not try on, not purchase. After returning the information card to her, I proceeded to lift the chain leading to the dress area. *cue music of doom* She glared at me like I was a toddler with my hand in the candy jar and told me to hold on and that a consultant would be with me momentarily. I politely told her that I did not need a consultant to ""help"" me browse. She responded that a consultant would be happy to give me a tour. What part of ""browse"" she could not understand, or rather, refused to acknowledge, was beyond me. I pointed out that first I need to see if the dresses are even my style and taste before proceeding with store ""procedure"", trying to avoid wasting my time and theirs. With a restrained smirk, she let me through the chained area. It only took five minutes to browse all selections. Not my style of gowns whatsoever. I'm so glad I looked before I leaped because that saved me a lot of time. I walked right out of there. Won't be back, either. more

First off, I'm a bride that is not comfortable in a dress and making big purchases. My sales rep, whose name escapes me (she used to work at another bridal salon, which will remain nameless, down in Sandy Springs) was unbelievable. I'm planning a wedding over 800 miles away and after having a very frustrated time shopping at the wedding site I returned to Atlanta and came here. She was so much fun and made it less stressful. After a few dresses she really tried and nailed my tastes. I think I tried on every dress with no real feeling but then she brought me a Maggie Sottero dress that they just got in. I was the first to try it on and I love so much of it. I can't say enough how much the entire staff including the owner helped me figure out what I really wanted. Without this step I wouldn't have decided on the dress i did. I did not get my dress from here b/c they didn't carry the line that I loved but I would recommend this place to anyone. I am a mother of the bride and I was pleased with the staff and their excellent service. They provided us with my daughters gown, veil and shoes, my dress and her brides maids dresses. I was so very pleased with the selection offered at Bride Beautiful. more

I shopped at several stores throughout the ATL area and ended up buying my dress from Bride Beautiful. I wish I had started there, so I would not have wasted weeks of my time at other stores that were either rude, dirty, or just did not have a good selection. The place can be a little crowded on weekends, but the sales people are really helpful and fun. I ended up making an appointment to come back in with my bridesmaids and we picked out their dress in about an hour. They have a lot of dresses to choose from and the prices were lower than what I expected. I def recommend this store and would suggest making an appointment. They say that they are not required, but I would make one anyway just to be safe. more

I looked EVERYWHERE for my wedding attire and Bride Beautiful is the BEST! When I walked in the first time, I was totally stressed from not being able to find the perfect dress. The receptionists were really nice and told me that everyone there would take great care of me. Then my consultant Njeri gave me a tour of the store and I could actually see the dresses because they were on manequins... GREAT IDEA! I wanted a mermaid style and we tried the five that I selected but I still had not found "the dress". Njeri was terrific at finding a couple of more dresses that I loved and the final dress was "THE ONE"! They even changed the neckline for me! \r \r I am so glad that I found Bride Beautiful! I drove from Tennessee because I was not having luck anywhere (even at a couple of other salons in Atlanta) and it was well worth every mile. MY FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED IN MAY OF 2008, AND WHEN WE BEGAN SHOPPING FOR HER BRIDAL GOWN WE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT BRIDE BEAUTIFUL. WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN, ALL THE BRIDAL GOWNS WERE ON BUSTFORMS DISPLAYED NICE AND NEATLY SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO RUMBLE THROUGH ANY BAGS. THEN WE WERE GREETED BY A LADY AT THE FRONT DESK, WHO ASKED US IF WE NEEDED ANY HELP. WE TOLD HER WE WERE JUST STARTING FOR HER BRIDAL GOWN. This store was awesome during my entire year of planning. My slaes consultant was very helpful and everytime I went in she or someone else was willing to help me. The store can be very busy on weekends; I had to wait around 20 minutes before someone was available to help me on my first visit. However, on all of my other visits I was helped almost immediately. In the mean time I looked through catalogs and at bridesmaids dresses. Like others have mentioned, the dresses are displayed on mannequins, so its much easier to shop. I have been to practically all the bridal stores in Atlanta and this store won my business by personable customer service, great selection, and the right price. All of the dresses I considered were priced around $1000, so the prices are great. I also ordered all of my bridesmids dresses here (20% off) and did alterations through the store. I picked my dress up 3 days before my wedding pressed and ready to go. It was so helpful to have a store that did it all so that I did not have to run hectic errands all over Atlanta the few days before my wedding. Bride Beautiful is the BEST wedding dress shop. The staff there was very helpful. I loved how they had the dresses hanging where you can see and touch them. They aren't hanging in bags. The prices there are AMAZING!!! and not just on wedding gowns. Also on bridesmaids, veils, shoes, jewelery, flower girl. My dress was STUNNING. My bridesmaids were PERFECT. My mother and mother-in-law got their dresses there too and were BEAUTIFUL. If you are looking for a dress at a reasonable price, GO TO BRIDE BEAUTIFUL. i was so happy when i got married in march this year. my wedding turned out just like i wanted, thanks to bride beautiful. i had the dress of my dreams and my bridesmaids look great also. my consultant helped me with everything i needed. they are the full service store they say they are. i all got my ckae cutting set and the champagne flutes, and my guest book , and alterations. i did not have go any where else. the staff was always there to help me, even the owner came to wish me luck on my wedding when i picked up my wedding gown on my way the hotel. it made me feel like a princess! i have told all my friends about how great they were and how they helped me make my dream wedding come true!!! I bought my FIRST dress here, and wish that I didn't! I feel like I was pressured into a dress that I didn't love and once I paid, they were not interested in helping me at all. I waited forever for the dress to come in, with little communication. They suckered us into a terrible package that we were led to believe included alterations, when in fact it only included storage. The dress was OK in quality, but I paid more than it was worth due to this package. My mother was also disappointed as she bought a dress there and had the same problems. My bridesmaids dresses were purchased there in October and did not come in until the 2nd week in February. If I wanted any information on my orders, I had to call myself. Not to mention every time I was in there I felt like I was being herded around like cattle. In the end, I bought another dress and so did my Mother. If you are looking for a wonderful dress experience where you are treated like a princess, check out my review of Priscilla of Boston. Pros: Not many. Not highly recommended. It was like herding cattle there on the wkend and yes...the salespeople are strange with their policy. It was very crowded and uncomfortable. I started shopping for wedding dresses in June of last year for my wedding which took place in October of 2007. Little did I know that I was a bit too late to find a dress that could be ordered, but several places rudely let me know. I probably went to 8 different places in Atlanta which were a disaster- one woman even laughed at me that I would expect to find a dress in June for an October wedding. I had an idea of the type of dress that I wanted, I was tired of making appts with wedding shops only to be dissapointed, and was considering having a dress made when I called Bride Beautiful. Explaining what I was looking for in a dress and the problems I was having finding the right gown, I was told that Sherry would be able to help me. I also have to say, the girl that answered the phone was as nice as anyone could be and told me not to give up on finding my dress! I met with Sherry a few days later, and explained what I was looking for. She let me look through the gowns to get an idea of what I wanted to try on, and while I was trying on dresses she brought me the exact dress that I had always dreamed of. I could not believe it.....the dress was from a recent truck show- halter with beading on the top and solid satin bottom. She called the company to see if there was anyway we could do a rush order on the gown since I was running out of time, and they were able to make the gown for me. The gown came in as promised, Sherry had my alterations with Gloria- and I can't tell you how PERFECT this dress turned out. I also found my shoes and my hair accessories there. I can't say enough wonderful things about Bride Beautiful. On my wedding day - people commented on my dress over and over- it was magical. Bride Beautiful saved my wedding day- every girl wants her dress to be special and to feel beautiful- don't waste your time like I did and call Bride Beautiful first!! more

Pros: parking, dress selection, facility\r Con: customer service and satisfaction, rude and errogant salespeople, "their policy"\r \r I attended this particular bridal shop with the bride and other maid of honor. Before entering the facility, we were pretty excited to see what this shop had to offer. Boy were we in for a treat! We entered the shop, were greeted, given a tour, explained the pricing, and we then proceeded to clip the dresses she wanted to try on. The associate was a little pushy, but it was nothing to get us all upset-until DUN DUN DUN...\r \r It came time for the bride to try on the dresses and this is where it all began. Myself and the other MOH were making our way into the room with the bride when we were suddenly stopped by the associate. She told us to "sit down" and that "she was the professional that would be taking care of the bride." WOW! Thats the first this has happened. We all looked at each other with mouths wide open thinking "you have got to be kidding." We ask more

DO NOT SHOP AT BRIDE BEAUTIFUL!! I visited this store w/ my friend (the bride) and another friend (the other MOH). Everything was going good in the beginning. We went in, got a tour from the sales lady, and then she left us alone; although she was kinda pushy. Anywho, we proceeded to clip the wedding dresses that we liked, and then we told the lady that we were ready. She went into the dressing room, followed by the bride. However, when my friend and I started to go into the room, the sales lady informed us that "she would be dressing her and we could just sit down." Our mouths literally dropped open. \r \r Well, the bride immediately said no and that she wanted us to come into the room with them. The lady said that "that was their policy and that she was the professional." Ok, first of all, their so called policy wasn't posted anywhere in the store that we saw. This really made me sad to see a shop with a wide selection of dresses that had such rude salespeople. When my bridesmaids & I first went in, we were given a "tour" & I picked out all the dresses I liked. The saleslady was VERY pushy. She went to get the dresses for me & put them in the dressing room. As my bridesmaids & I were about to walk into the dressing room, she said that she would be dressing me & my girls had to sit down outside the dressing room. I immediately said no & asked why they couldn't come in the dressing room to which she replied that "that was their policy" because she was the "professional." Apparently you need to be a professional to slip a dress over someone's head & then zip it up. Please. I find it interesting that this official policy of theirs was not posted anywhere around the store that I saw. They do have a good selection of dresses, however that is the only good thing they have to offer. I went with 2 of my bridesmaids to look for a wedding dress & after picking out the ones I liked I was told by the saleslady that my bridesmaids could not be in the dressing room with me, instead they had to sit outside in the chairs. She stated that this was their ""policy"" however she failed to mention this until right when we were walking into the dressing room & I didn't see any signs posted stating the policy. I could understand if she wanted to be in there with all of us, but to say they weren't ""allowed in"" was completely ridiculous. Also, she shut the door in my bridesmaids faces while they were talking to me & in the process nearly shut my foot in the door without so much as an apology. Then she told me that we should not ""proceed"" if I felt uncomfortable, basically telling me I should leave if I won't allow her to dress me. Well I should have put my foot down & left right then but we ended up staying. So reluctantly I allowed a perfect stranger to dress me (as thought I cannot dress myself) & she stated that my bridesmaids could not help me becuase SHE was the ""professional."" Needless to say, her disrespectful attiitude made the rest of the experience anything but delightful. I was seriously in awe of how I was treated, especially considering the fact that I could have potentially bought mine & my bridesmaids dresses from there.
