A very poor experience and no follow up from company 9/23/2018

While Rohan, the technician was very nice and polite, and while I believe he tried to fix our toilet, within three hours of his departure it is worse than when he started. I sent a follow up email to Robin Clark (who sent me the invoice receipt) expressing my displeasure and requesting that someone call so I could set another appointment to have the issue resolved. Nine days and $135 later, I have yet to hear from anyone at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I would not recommend this company. more

had a lightning strike to my well pump and needed it to be assessed for damage 9/20/2018

I called at 9:30 in the morning to relate my concern to Benjamin Franklin, spoke with Tisha who was very courteous and helpful. she scheduled my visit for 11:00-2:00. I was astonished and pleased to get a call back that the visit would take place at 11:00! Charlie was the technician. He was very polite, professional. He listened to my story attentively, assessed my water pump, contacted the office to verify the size of the pump in my well, and the office actually contacted the manufacturer of the pump to discuss the results of his assessment. I was given a clear assessment of the condition of my water pump, the expectations that it may run for awhile, but could give out at any time. I was not pressured into making a decision to replace the pump immediately. I was informed about the customer saving program as well as told that they offer financing if needed. I was very satisfied with the service. more

way too much money 9/16/2018

This well foot valve replacement was way too expensive at $1,350,00. The next day I received a return phone call from a plumber I had left a message with the day I hired Benjamin Franklin saying that the valve replacement would cost $500.00 total with a 2 year warranty. more

Outstanding Work 9/11/2018

The Technician- Pawel, was such a great gentleman. Very kind and he explained every thing he fixed for me or replaced. These problems I had with the water tank, the water pump and the sink drain has been a problem for the last 3 years. ( My husband, which just passed away this pass March) every time I would complain about the problems we've been having he would say he'd get to it but because of his heart problem he never had the energy to do it. It was a man thing about hiring someone else to do his work. Now that everything is fixed I feel a lot better at night knowing that the water pump isn't running for 8 hours and not shuting off. Thank Pawel for me for doing an outstanding job. more

Very Professional and Timely 8/27/2018

I had an excellent experience working with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing - Andover, CT and I would definitely recommend their service to other people. Most recently, the company helped fix the pipes connecting to a water heater that seemed like it was leaking. This was my first experience with the company and I was more than satisfied with how the job turned out. I would also be happy to use them again in the future. I thought that the employees were professional, efficient and easy to work with. In fact, they actually came earlier than when they said. Thank you! more

Not happy with new annual policy. 8/7/2018

I do not know if I'll renew a plan, July 19. While the monthly rate has decreased, so have the benefits, as indicated by the latest billing. I am investigating other plumbing companies and their plans. RESPONSE FROM Benjamin Franklin Plumbing - Andover, CT: Michael, I hope you decide to stay with Benjamin Franklin, as I am sure you are aware we are available 24/7 and strive to give exemplary service. The maintenance plan that we are no longer offering was with a third party company. As of June this year the prerequisites for covered claims have changed and they are making it more difficult to cover claims that they had previously granted to our customers. By offering Ben Society we have complete control over the process. Ben Society offers 15% off all services including installations where as the other company offered 15% off select services limited to clogs and leaks.
