TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Bachman Furniture! I am an easy-going person with a high tolerance level, but Bachman Furniture has pushed me to my limit! I ordered furniture in late June 2013 and was promised delivery in 4 to 5 weeks by the saleswoman. Now it is Oct. 7, 2013 -- a full 14 weeks later -- and my son is still not in possession of the furniture. The people I have talked to at Bachman's since my purchase have been difficult if not downright rude to me. I have contacted VISA to see if they could apply some pressure to get the furniture delivered or my money back. I see on the Better Business Bureau site that they have had several claims against them. Not at all surprised. I strongly recommend that you shop elsewhere for your home furnishings unless you are fully prepared for a long and protracted fight.. more

Bachman's is the BEST furniture store!! They have furniture you don't see at any other store - and trust me, we looked everywhere! We had such an incredible experience shopping there - from working with our salesperson Gerry to the delivery guys. It was a seamless process from start to finish. Gerry was so knowledgeable about the furniture - types of woods used, construction, how to clean it, etc. It was special ordered for us so we did have to wait about 6 weeks, but it was worth it. The delivery department was very helpful and was able to accommodate us based on our work schedule. The delivery guys were very professional and assembled the bedroom set for us (my husband certainly wouldn't have been able to!). We ended up having an issue with one of the drawers on our dresser, but they sent out a guy right away to have it fixed. Problems can happen anywhere, but its how a company takes care of it that counts. They definitely excel in customer service! We couldn't be happier with our purchase. We look forward to shopping at Bachman's again - and telling all of our friends to as well! more

I shopped Bachman Furniture whenever i purchased furniture. I was always completely satisfied, i love their original style and customer service. On my lunch break i would stop in just to see what was new in stock. I relocated to Mobile, Al. and i wish Bachman would to. Lori. more

My husband and I were in search of a new leather sectional. Our kids have moved out and we were finally going to get ""adult"" furniture. We always had cheap furniture the kids beat up and were ready to get something VERY nice. We had been in Bachman's before, but this time, we were finally ready to buy the quality they offer. Gerry was our sales person, who is extremely knowledgeable about leather. Again, because the kids are gone, we wanted to get the nicest leather possible (we deserve it, right?!). Gerry taught us about the different grades of leather, the highest being 7000 and of course, the most expensive. We were convinced that was what we wanted (and deserved!!) We were willing to pay the price, but once Gerry found out we had a dog in the house (and yes, he is allowed on the furniture) Gerry discouraged it. He explained that the best leather is what is best for your lifestyle, which turned out to be a grade 2000 for us...~$1500 less than the 7000! We did stop at a few stores before Bachman's and found most sales people at the other stores went for the larger ticket sale. Bachman's truly had our best interest in mind, not their pocketbook. We have had our leather sectional for a little over a year now and it has held up tremendously well...to us, the dog, and even the kids when they come home to visit! We couldn't be happier with our purchase and would definitely recommend Bachman's to everyone we know! more

After searching by high and low (internet and by car) for an interesting new couch, Bachman Furniture was a great experience. The staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful without being pushy. The displays are incredible. They have a vast array of styles from which to choose. Our sales person listened carefully to what wanted and found the perfect sofa, chair, and rug for us. I couldn't believe it - there is actually another contemporary furniture store in Milwaukee!! Bachman's has an awesome selection and reasonable prices!! You have to check it out for yourselves! And get this...they not only help you when you're there, but they do it without an attitude! They actually WANT to help you! more

I was extremely pleased when I went to Bachman's the first time. They have beautiful furniture that you just don't see anywhere else - and at great prices!! The sales person was very knowledgable and helped me pick out the right furniture for my lifestyle and space (or the lack there of). I looked EVERYWHERE before coming to Bachman's. They have such a great selection of contemporary furniture, art and accessories - it was one-stop shopping! They really do a great job and I would recommend everyone giving them a try!! Pros: Great customer service, interior designers, selection of traditional and contemporary furniture Cons: A little out of the way, but definitely worth the trip! more
