My husband and I were in search of a new leather sectional. Our kids have moved out and we were finally going to get ""adult"" furniture. We always had cheap furniture the kids beat up and were ready to get something VERY nice.
We had been in Bachman's before, but this time, we were finally ready to buy the quality they offer. Gerry was our sales person, who is extremely knowledgeable about leather. Again, because the kids are gone, we wanted to get the nicest leather possible (we deserve it, right?!). Gerry taught us about the different grades of leather, the highest being 7000 and of course, the most expensive. We were convinced that was what we wanted (and deserved!!) We were willing to pay the price, but once Gerry found out we had a dog in the house (and yes, he is allowed on the furniture) Gerry discouraged it. He explained that the best leather is what is best for your lifestyle, which turned out to be a grade 2000 for us...~$1500 less than the 7000!
We did stop at a few stores before Bachman's and found most sales people at the other stores went for the larger ticket sale. Bachman's truly had our best interest in mind, not their pocketbook.
We have had our leather sectional for a little over a year now and it has held up tremendously well...to us, the dog, and even the kids when they come home to visit! We couldn't be happier with our purchase and would definitely recommend Bachman's to everyone we know!
