You Get What You Pay For! 3/16/2012

5 years ago I purchased a hot tub from someone in town (I won't say who) but it was a piece of crap! I had two leaks and both times to fix the problem they had to stand the tub up, dig out the foam, fix it, and then hire someone to respray foam and it was not cheap!!! $786 the first time and $1,074 the second. My heater just fried and it was within the warranty time frame but they wouldn't cover it because they said it was due to poor water care even though my water is crystal clear and I follow the instructions they gave me. So I decided to shop for a new tub because I love having one. I went to every place in Spokane and Cda, I even did a test soak in a few. I found 2 dealers in specific that do not foam fill their cabinets. One seamed to be a high quality product, the other looked similar but I noticed lots of things very cheaply done on the tubs. Expected ALOT more from Apollo...disappointed. 1/18/2012

Definitely not satisfied with my Apollo Spa purchase. After paying $10,000 for a new hot tub, I expected alot better. After waiting 4 weeks for our new tub to be manufactured, it shows up with our steps inside a cardboard box sitting inside the tub. From the travel, the cardboard box rubbed a dull spot in the finish of our tub. Definitely not thrilled, but it's below the water line, so I dealt with it. Next after owning it for 3 weeks it starts losing water. To the tune of 200 gallons in 7 days. They send a tech out who finds a leak and then fixes it. Here's where it gets interested. Before draining the tub, the tech takes an old dirty garden house that was sitting in our yard and throws it in the tub to attempt to unthaw it, to use the hose to refill the tub later. Definitely a poor decision as now our tub is full of dirt, grass, leaves, and other debris. The tech makes no effort to clean the tub, instead tells us to just run it and the filter will handle all that. Nice...further one more

The service was bad enough I had to come write this review 11/5/2011

The service from Apollo spa's was horrible. We bought a house with a hot tub already here and had them come check it out to make sure everything was in good condition. We had to wait 3 weeks for them to send out a service tech. I filled the hot tub up before they came and everything was fine. Now after they checked it out, it leaks, needs a new pump and I had to pay $200.00 for them to tell me? Now i have to pay another 800.00 for a new pump which was supposed to be installed the next day. 2 weeks later I called to find out why I haven't heard anything, I was told the wrong part came in and I would have to wait another week before a tech could come out to replace the new part. One week later I called again and they have the right part, but it now costs $250.00 more than I was quoted weeks ago. Inflation maybe? Overcharging, more likely! My end result was I then told them to cancel the service call because of the poor service, I explained that charging $90/something an hour is fine as l more

Barely a Company 10/18/2011

These monkeys can't tell the difference from a foot and a hand. They only speak Idahoan and they might eat your children. The big ape yells at the little ones, then they take it out on you the consumer all the while ignoring facts about what makes a business "better". Your better researching your spa problem yourself, they will definatley give you the "long version" of what the problem actually boils down to. If you're looking for seamless service, keep looking......... more

Forget the cheap spas, you get what you pay for..get the Best spa! I am 4/1/2011

A few weeks ago my friend went to one of your stores and would not stop raving about the service she received when buying her chemical supplies. And when she was told she could upgrade and turn in her old Cal Spa for a superior Apollo or Arctic, she was very excited and had to tell me since I also had a very old mountain springs spa that came with my house and would love to get a new hot tub. I am reviewing the website and with all the raves on your facebook, BBB A+ rating and what seems to be the best Customer and servicing in the PNW, once my IRS refund ckeck is here I?ll be in the store to get a new one for sure!!!\r ~Excited New Customer! more

I heard from a friend who was looking up the number for Apollo that they have gotten a bunch of bad reviews....just want to say the tub has been great. I had one small problem but they were courteous and responsive and drove right out to my house to fix it. Whatever the issues others are having I suspect there is more to the story, I don't regret the purchase for a second more

The team at Apollo made, what was a very confusing and complex product to research, clear and understandable. \r \r After a futile attempt to research spas on the web, and at the other so called Spokane local dealers I made my way down to the fair, where I could work with each of the vendors in the area. The team at Apollo made my a very confusing buying experience very clear, as they explained the fundamentals, features and manufacturing process, in a way that was easy to consume. After several trips, to meticulously review all my vendor and manufacturing option, it was an easy decision to end my search back at Apollo. My priority was comfort and quality and my Arctic spa was the easy winner. \r \r My Arctic spa was the obvious choice of quality for the dollar, and they made the sales process smooth and easy. \r \r \r I was also worried about delivery as my spa needed to be located in a fairly confined corner of my deck. Please dont buy an Appollo Spa 3/7/2011

My wife and I bought a Rainier from Appollo several years ago at the fair. This thing has been the worst investment of our life. Since day one we have had issues with this. The technician constantly was telling me to make them replace the tub because it was obviously a lemon. The heater has gone out on this tub almost every 6-9 months. The chemicals are impossible to keep right. The ozonator has been disconnected after the 3rd time they replaced it and it messed up again. They always make the appointments almost impossible to commit to. \r We paid over $10,000 for this hot tub hoping that it would be $$=quality and customer support, we were so wrong. Just now today as I am getting ready to leave town for a week I went out to check the chemicals and make sure my house sitter would be able to enjoy the hot tub, guess what? The heater is bad AGAIN!!!! It is in the low 20's at night and my tub wont heat up. All this time I have been telling them "you guys arent going to keep comng out for t more

Apollo Spas Poor Repair Service 10/24/2010

We purchased an Apollo Spa 3 years ago. During that time we had to call customer service at least 7 times for various malfunctions of the spa. This stikes me as a little excessive, but previously the service we received was OK. The service personnel seemed to care about customer satisfaction and the technicians knew what they were doing. \r \r This year has been entirely difference, however, the customer service representatives have a careless, indifferent attitude. When they schedule you for an appointment, they don't bother to record the time of day the technician will arrive. It's a good bet your whole day is going to be shot waiting around for them. \r \r The technicians themselves never seem to have the parts needed. The last technician who showed up at the end of the day didn't even try to figure out what the problem was before deciding he didn't have what he needed to fix it.\r \r We are now on our third service call for a leaking jacuzzi and we don't even know what the problem more

WARNING - do not buy an Apollo Spa! 9/8/2010

We bought our spa from Apollo almost 3 years ago and are finally rid of it. We had nothing but problems from the start. Jets popped out regularly, chemicals were always "off", weird bubbles appeared in the water, filtration was horrible. Apollo always made us feel like it was our fault and made excuse after excuse. Their service technicians couldn't even solve the problem for us.\r \r We are glad it's gone! Warning...do not buy from Apollo!! more

Yikes, keep looking for a good spa! 8/21/2010

8 service visits in 2 months and 1 day. The spa sits emply leaking at the same place it's been leaking since approximately the 4th visit. Love the "rare" places our tub apparently leaks. Sure wish service could communicate with each other. Too bad buying a 2010 newly manufactured tub is so difficult! Olympic here I come! I just have to wait for Apollo to credit us for the spa before I can afford to go purchase a new one. Looks like I'm back to soaking in the bathtub for awhile. Oh, at least the company offered me a $200 credit for my troubles. Think I can purchase anything to fix this problem with that? more

Terrible Hot Tubs! 8/13/2010

We purchased our hot tub from Apollo Spas just over a year ago and have nothing but heart ache. The water quality has been horrible since the second month. 1-3 jets pop out every couple of months. The water temp. rises to over 116 degrees. They are always able to talk their way out of the issues and somehow turn it around. They say the water quality is due to our inexperience. We owned our last hot tub from Olympic for 15 years without 1 problem. We should have bought an Olympic this time but they cost a bit more. They said the jets popping out is normal. We never had one jet pop out from our last tub. The extreme rise in temperature they say is because - it's summer and/or these tubs are build for Alaska temperatures and/or - that's normal for summer. We are so fed up - we are going to pay someone to take it away. $8,000 gone. We hope this review will help someone. Please, please do lots of research before buying your tub from Apollo. more

A horrible company to work for-and they steal from you. 11/26/2008

I worked for this company starting from the time they last went out of business, after taking a pre-arranged medical leave of absence, they refused to pay me over $3000 in commissions, and I'm not the only one, several salespeople have been fired so they can try to escape payment of wages, some customers are waiting more than four months for tubs to be delivered because of money problems with the company.If you gave them money, and actually received a spa, you were lucky. Avoid this place. more

All is well with our new tub. 10/8/2008

After having some problems with the Fancher store we were contacted by Wayne Cayko the district manager and he assured us the heater was correctly installed and we wouldn't have any problems with it when changing the water. He was able to get us additional information for the control panel that answered all our questions. He explained that Apollo was being bought by his company and they had some issues they were addressing. We are very happy with our new spa especially now that all the problems (mainly communication) have been rectified. It has so many jets it's hard to decide where the best seat is! We also like the feature where you control the 4 sets of jets individually so if just one person is in the tub you can conserve energy by running just those jets. Our two 4 year old grandkids love to get in gramma and grampa's hot tub, they especially like the volcano and the changing lights. Alana Kenner more
