5 years ago I purchased a hot tub from someone in town (I won't say who) but it was a piece of crap! I had two leaks and both times to fix the problem they had to stand the tub up, dig out the foam, fix it, and then hire someone to respray foam and it was not cheap!!! $786 the first time and $1,074 the second. My heater just fried and it was within the warranty time frame but they wouldn't cover it because they said it was due to poor water care even though my water is crystal clear and I follow the instructions they gave me. So I decided to shop for a new tub because I love having one. I went to every place in Spokane and Cda, I even did a test soak in a few. I found 2 dealers in specific that do not foam fill their cabinets. One seamed to be a high quality product, the other looked similar but I noticed lots of things very cheaply done on the tubs.
