ordered canon sx210 arrived as described new etc. processing was a drop lengthy, took a couple of days, but overall was a good experience would shop there again more

No really happy with service 2/2/2011

I ordered a camera and was very pleased with the service I received but after I received the camera I went back to order a lens. I placed this order and later that day I discovered that the price for the lens I ordered was not the best available. I called them to see if they would match the price. They refused and told me they did not guarantee the best price available. This really surprised me. The person I spoke with became rude and actually got nasty. he proceded to give me a ten minute lecture on how much nerve I had asking him for this. I told him to cancel my order. He told me it had already been shipped an I could send it back what my own expense once it arrives. I was really unhappy with this and the next day I sent an email to their customer service dept and I did receive a call from a male named Bart he too told me that they did not guarantee the lowest price but he would send me a filter to compensate me for the price difference. I've looked for my digital camera in many places finally found 42nd street Photo. I compared prices with other companies and they had the lowest price on my digital. The order was followed up by a phone call from a representative to confirm my order and delivery was done as promised. I highly recommend 42nd street Photo! more

They called me to let me know the product was shipping and to make sure I didn't need any other accessories for the new Canon EOS Rebel. I received it very quickly a few days later. Sony a550 Purchase 2/1/2011

I bought the Sony a550 DSLR because 42nd Street Photo beat everyone else's price by several hundred dollars. I confirmed my order by phone around 4 pm on Monday and not 24 hours later it was in my hands. Shipping was so fast it was as if the store was right next door and not 300 miles away. I couldn't be more pleased with the support and service I received. I will definitely buy from them again and again. more

42nd street had the best price for the sony tx5 waterproof camera. I did multiple search's on the web and 42nd still came up with the best price AND with free shipping!!! They called to verify the order, which I was not expecting, but was completely grateful. Whenever I buy any type of camera stuff, I will go to 42nd street, cause I know it will probably be the best deal. more

Great price, great service! 1/27/2011

I just purchased the Canon Rebel T2i. I have been looking all over town and the internet for the best deal. My husband is active duty military, so we usually make all of our big purchases through the Exchange...I can not believe that I found a much lower (by $80) price at 42nd St Photo (and it was still tax free)! I felt that the customer service was exceptional, I got a phone call to notify me of shipping (which was FREE) and to make sure I had everything I needed to get the best out of my new camera. There prices are great...on everything...even accessories! I will definitely be shopping with them again! Just as a side note: I am just learning about DSLRs and the the customer service rep was very helpful and informative...most of all he was very patient with me! You really could not ask for more from a company! more

Best price, not taxes and no shipping 1/27/2011

I serched everywhere for the Cannon EOS T2 SLR camera. 42nd St Photo had the lowest price ANYWHERE, even craigslist! And then there was no taxes and no shipping cost.\r \r They followed up with a call to make sure I purchased everything I needed for the camers. They walked we through some technical stuff and again beat everybody's price on an SD memory card. Nearly half the price of Amazon!\r \r Great job, highly recomended. more

good service but hard pressure on accessories \r \r purchased a panasonic lumix ZS7 trogh 42nd street photo : they offer a good price and the delivery was as promissed. The negative was the unexpected need to recall and be pressed for purchase of accessories. that is something I personnaly don't like. the rest of the process is fine. more

Great selection Bought a Sony HDR-CX350 Sales directed me away from another more expensive camera to this one. Great videocamera!! Great Price and arrived quickly. Only negative was the hard sell on accessories. Will shop and buy here again. I have already sent two people to the website. more

Greatest Photo Shop 1/24/2011

Their products are all new with prices cheaper than amazon, the original store, and occasionally ebay. The customer service is fantastic! I ordered a camera with out the special memory card, and they were kind enough to call and make sure I knew that I wasnt ordering the card (I didnt know a special card was needed). They really are fantastic people and they answer when you call. The shipping is free and fast too! more

First buying experience 1/23/2011

I found out about 42nd Street Photo from the Consumer Report website. I looked at all the other stores listed on the website and 42nd had the best package for the cheapest price. They phoned me right away to confirm my order and shipping details. The guy on the phone was really knowledgeable about cameras and was quite helpful. He told me the filter I ordered was the wrong one and would reduce the HD quality of the camera. He said he would get my camera shipped right away, and he wasn't lying. I have my camera now and I absolutely love it. more

I got a great camera here at a great price. I also got great service after I placed my order. The customer service people called to confirm the order and talked me through the choices I made. I actually ended up changing the order to better suit a trip my wife was taking to Africa. She came back with a thousand beautiful shots.\r \r I would look to 42nd street photo next time we need camera equipment of accessories.\r \r Bob more
