I was prepared for that phone call where i was supposedly going to get harassed by the sales guy. I did get a phone call where they did try to upsell me, but the guy (named Robert) was nice and when he realized I didn't need anything, he didn't press on. He told me that my camera would ship and lo and behold it shipped just like they said. I got it and it was perfect. I got a Canon EOS Rebel t3i and I'm 100% satisfied with 42nd street photo. I'd ordered a T3i kit with a 18-135mm lens about a week before leaving for my international trip. The price was fantastic and about $75 lesser than the competition even with the expedited 2 day shipping charges added. When I didnt receive a tracking number for 4 days (including the weekend), I called them up to figure out what happened. Due to some mixup, I was told, that it hadn't shipped yet, but that they would overnight it to me right away. True to their word, I received the package the day before I was leaving. I opened up the package in a hurry only to find that the box and everything on it seemed to indicate that it was the standard 18-55mm lens kit. I was a bit disappointed and worked up. It was late at night (~11pm pacific), so the lines were closed, but on a hunch, I emailed them about this problem. Within 20 minutes I got an email reply from Elliot, asking me to check the actual contents and not the prints on the box. Glad he did, coz it was the right lens and I had a fantastic trip with the camera. My only concern is that since the box had been opened and the original lens replaced, that I'd maybe gotten an open box item. But they've assured me that this is a brand new kit and that the box was opened only to fulfill my order in a timely fashion since maybe they didnt have the exact kit I'd ordered. No other complaints so far. Price and service cant be beat. more
