Businiess name:  Hyatt Place Riverside/Downtown
Review by:  Terry E.
Review content:
BEWARE! This Hyatt does not accept the policies of Hyatt Corporate. A reservation I had booked 3 months ago for this weekend was just cancelled today because the general manager of this Hyatt Place refuses to accept the payment that the Hyatt toll-free folks told me would be just fine when I made the res. I just got an email from a Eboni Young, the A.M. Manager on Duty, that states their G.M., Jay Koury and Sylvia Rojas, personally refuse to accept my credit card. I just confirmed with the Hyatt toll-free number that they do accept my payment method, that the Riverside Hyatt Place should accept my payment, but that the G.M. has authority to ignore Hyatt Corporate's policies at their discretion even though this conflicts with the information provided to me when I made the res through the toll-free number. The reservation agent at the toll-free number was nice enough to find me another Hyatt Place 16 miles away in Ontario, CA that will accept my payment so I at least would not be homeless during the wedding I am to attend this weekend. Ultimately, however, I found a Hampton Inn closer in Colton that honored my Hyatt Place res, payment method and rate. Book at your own risk.
