I have known Michael Spitzer for nearly two decades and have only spectacular things to say about him and his custom made shirts. His personal touch and dedication to detail is unparalleled. He is very professional and takes his role as my personal clothier to the extreme. He always has a smile and puts my needs ahead of his own and always makes me feel like I?m his only customer and keeping me happy is the most important thing to him. He has also helped me make some great fashion decisions and is usually ahead of the curve with an eye for what is best on my body and suits my build and complexion. His prices have always been fair and he offers different types of customized tailoring that I have only seen on Downing Street. \r

The quality of the materials and fabrics available are wonderful. I have shirts that still wear excellently many years after purchasing them. He and his team is not only expert at crafting my shirts to all of my specifications, but they have also always been able to repair or replace any damaged or worn part and made the shirt like new again. Of course throughout the years I have gained and lost a few pounds (who hasn?t?) and I?ve been able to keep my favorite shirts comfortable and looking well on me even though Mike and his crew retailored them several times.\r

I have recommended many of my business associates to Arthur Gluck shirts and they in turn have always thanked me again and again for introducing them to Michael. There are many custom shirt makers to choose from in Manhattan but there is only ONE Michael Spitzer.
Pros: Politicians and Fortune 100 execs are common visitors ( I should say customers ) as well as a few sport and entertainment celebrities that you would only expect to see courtside.
Cons: Getting an appointment just when I need it has sometimes been a challange - He spends a lot of time with me (and everyone else too!)
