Sometimes you just want to go someplace familiar and get some good old fashoned comfort food. The cafe decor seems like something out of the 1950's. I think some of the ""blue haired"" ladies - all dressed up, with handbag over their arms, are actually part of the decor. The salads are crisp, the rolls are fresh, and the potatoes are smooth and creamy. I don't know what makes this place so special, it's just good food at a fair price. It's on our list of regulars.
Pros: Consistantly good food
Cons: Friday nights have a line out the door that goes forever.
