My wife and I consider ourselves to be conniseurs (sp?) of fine food and wine. These are, after all, the comforts we feel we deserve having led a full life with careers in the real estate industry, and children on Wall Street. Last weekend we made our way down to the Mission to see for ourselves what Brunos' new menu was all about. We started at the bar where our competent and outgoing bartender whet our appetite with cucumber gimlets and spiced fries. When we sat down to eat, I couldn't believe the eager friendliness of our server. She was so attentive. The food wasd to die for. Try the Hangar steak, seriously. If you are ever in the mission, you can't skip a trip to Bruno's. We didn't stay for the music this time purposefully so we could go back another night. Sincerely.
