Great Service, Great Atmosphere, Great Place 1/10/2009

The Round Rock Family YMCA gives off a friendly atmosphere and a motivating place to stay on your fitness routine. The staff is always friendly and seems to enjoy working with each other. It makes it fun and exciting to be able to work out in a place where they have fun and enjoy their jobs. The manager is always willing to help the families when needed (ex: offering financial help in a tough economic time) and seems to have it all under control. I am very excited about the opening of their new pool and cant wait to use the facility! It has been a long time coming. They have something for everyone now: Sports, Child Care, Swimming, Exercise, Teens and so much more! Its fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A!! Pros: They run the best programs in Williamson County and have the most choices for families. We would not be anywhere else. Cons: Can be crowded during peak hours and classes can fill up quickly. Get there early! more

  • In Short
The first U.S. branch of the YMCA started in Boston in 1851; there are now more than 2,500 locations nationwide, making it the country's largest nonprofit community service program. Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts. Many also have day care and after-school programs, as well as summer day camps.
