Service 10/29/2014

My name is Roy, IHave been with Unique Air since Pro Air went out of business. Up until about six months ago they were good about their service, on time arrival, and HONESTlY. I don't know what has happened to them!! I have had a service aggrement with them for years. Never has it taken two and a half weeks to get an appointment. I finally got one, Oct 29 between nine and twelve AM. No one shows up, not even a phone call. I call and I'm told they got busy. I wasted over three hours waiting. I feel they have cut their staff and simply can't handle the work, and to sell work not needed. I am totally done with Unique Air!!! more

Great Service From Robert Y 10/8/2014

After purchasing a new heat pump last year, and having problems with the UV light needing to be replaced at our cost , Robert came in and found the problem, and after checking with his manager, in his words, he wanted to "make it right" for the customer. He did. I trust him , to repair and check our heat pumps and provide honest results. Thank you Robert for making my day, and instilling trust in Unique Services for all of our needs. more

New installation 8/26/2014

The installers were here promptly at 8:30 this morning and just left at 4:30PM. It was a very difficult install due to the confined space available for the new unit in the master BR closet. The guys, Odie and Jeff were very personable and worked like dogs to get the job done. After many calls back to the office they figured out how to make it work without having to cut up the walls and making an unsightly mess. Kudos to you for that. My only complaint was that the walls took a beating-very dirty, but I guess it couldn't be helped. Oh, and Jeff reported to me that my neighbor's outside AC was not working properly so I called her in Ohio and they spoke with her and are going to fix her unit also. Good catch Jeff. Thank you for the cool air!!!!!!! more

Great, 8/22/2014

We are extremely happy with our Unique Air experience. Luke's expertise and engineering background sold us on the Daikin AC system. Luke also came today for the 3 month service call. Our electric bill was reduced 46%. The two techs that installed the unit were top notch and were good craftsman. Very happy with them also. more

Service Tech Michael was polite, professional and efficient 6/26/2014

Although I wasn't crazy about the time frame for my service call (between 6 ad 11 PM), it was worth the wait even though Michael did not arrive until around 10 PM. He was able to pinpoint the problem with my AC quickly, fixed it and was on his way. If I have a problem in the future, I would hope to get him as the tech. Only one problem - phone service when I called around 9 PM to see when he would arrive was so scratchy the answering service could barely hear me and I could barely hear him. Frustrating for both of us. I'm afraid I was a little impatient, but in his defense, he remained calm and helpful and had someone call me a short time later. I do appreciate the fact that Unique provides service at that time of night. One other factor which caused a problem for Michael was that he was given the wrong street address. I am on Stoneywalk Ct. and his GPS showed Pleasant Hill. This happened once before, I think with a regular service call so it might be wrong in your client database. He was in the right development (Tara Golf and Country Club) but on the wrong street so this caused some delay in his arriving. He had to call me and I then directed him on how to find my place. more

PRICE GOUGING 3/10/2014

Dear Manager, My name is Guy Walter (Invoice 561472) Tech was Brian. Service call today 3-10-14 Brian came out to our house this afternoon to repair and small problem with one of our toilets and my wife Pat Walter was home for the repair. I feel very strongly she was taken advantage of due to her being a female! Every few minutes found another problem to pad the bill, which should have been about $150.00 total turned into $297.00 and was $400.00 until I told Brian on the phone to get out of my house, then he stated he would do the work for the $297.00? I know what these parts cost and I probably could have completed the entire job for under $100.00. I will go as far as I need to go to make this situation public including the BBB unless you lower this bill at least $100.00? My wife paid Brian in full with a check. Please advise what you would like to do about the price gouging that we just experience with your company? If I do not hear from you in 24 hours I will proceed. AC maintenance with Jon 2/28/2014

Has yearly maintenance with unique air very satisfied with their work and that the techs take the time to explain things in a way I can understand. Also very impressed with the duct cleaning and how effective it was with my over all quality of air. more
