Really Impressed! 7/27/2011

Love this place. I wasn't looking forward to car shopping but Tommy S. and Robert made it soooo easy. They were honest and straight forward, even a little entertaining. I bought some extra stuff for my new ride and when I brought it back in to get my stuff installed the service department was awesome too. I don't normally do reviews but I was really impressed with this place. I would highly recommend Toyota of Poway! more

Everything I Wanted and More! 7/26/2011

Great Car, great customer service, great people. I was in a car accident back in November and I have been carless since.. I've been wanting to get a new car, but I just couldn't find the right one and not to mention I didn't want to start all over again with my car payments since my last car, that was totaled, was more than halfway done being paid off. So I came here to look at the used cars when I was greeted by Alex and Robert. They were determined to help me find the perfect car and they definitely succeeded my expectations! I wanted to have a car the was higher up, safe, not a gas guzzler and stylish of course! and what did I end up with? My Mazda CX-7 that I LOVE. Everything I wanted and more AND in my budget! Alex and Robert made it a very painless process and I am so happy I have a car again and I am so happy I came here! more

Excellent Service 7/19/2011

Took my truck in over the weekend on Saturday. Very excellent service received by Sheri Ward. She was great! Also wanted to let everyone know that this dealership Service department is ran top notch. The Service Manager has been in Poway for over 10 years and used to be my service advisor! He is as fair as they come and is always looking out for the best interests in his customers and his employees. more

Easy to work with 7/14/2011

We met Paul Girdlestone at Toyota Poway. He approached us with a smile, eager to show us a 2010 Venza that we were interested in. In the middle of the test drive the car was sold to another customer and we had to return it. However, right a way Paul made an excellent effort to find us another deal. In addition, Paul does an excellent job at explaining the features of the car and was easy to work with. more

AMAZING! 7/13/2011

I bought a used Toyota from Poway Toyota back in August. On a road trip in December, it became apparant that there was some undercarriage damage to the vehicle that wasn't disclosed by the previous owner. Poway Toyota arranged to have it repaired at no cost, and even gave me a comparable rental vehicle for the whole time. It was a painless process. Then yesterday someone backed into my car causing it to be unsafe to drive. I moving out of state in a few days and need my car fixed ASAP! The Asst. Service Manager got on the phone with my insurance company and arranged for the adjuster to come out tomorrow morning and promised to have the vehicle repaired by Saturday afternoon. Great Experience! 7/13/2011

Great Experience I've had numerous dealings with Poway Toyota and cannot imagine what launched this complaint. Poway Toyota is the one I recommend ABOVE all the others in the area that think nothing of """"bait and switch"""". Today I spoke with them about this specific complaint and no one knew what I was talking about. The Prius sells for MSRP, but, it SHOULD have an MSRP 2k-3k higher. Dealers are buying 2006 pre-owned Priuses at major auctions, for $18000 to $20000 WHOLESALE! There must have been a simple miscommunication because I PREFER POWAY TOYOTA and my family has purchased many times there. Frankly, I'd RATHER pay them a good profit rather than treat them like the local Chevy dealer. Poway Toyota even showed me a way that I can buy many of their vehicles for about half price through the """"one-pay"""" structuring. It's amazing more

Better prices and service 7/8/2011

I really don't like going to the dealers for service because I typically have experienced high prices, poor service, and what I feel is dishonest business practices. I've been to Toyota of Poway before a few years ago and my experience was fair, however it appears that they have changed their business model and are now promoting better prices and service. I went in for a recall that I had been putting on for some time now just because I didn't want to deal with the dealer service. When I finally went in I had some routine service done as well since the car would already be there.....well I found the customer service and price to be excellent....definitely exceeding my expectations. more

Great Experience Great Price Originally was shopping at toyota escondido but got jerk around and frankly lied to so called the poway toyota they had exact same model color and options. Gave me a better price without me revealing what I had been quoted after an hour of negotiating at escondido and getting their ""best price ever"". Everything about experience was terrific have had first service done there last month and it was perfect as well. more

Great service for many years 6/28/2011

Happy Customer I have been buying and servicing my vehicles at Toyota of Poway for 15 years and have only one complaint. I have to drive 20 miles to get to their store. They should be at 5 stars they deal with probably 5k customers a month so to only have 20 complaints on google for the past ten years is a great. I did notice that all the Unhappy customers had one thing in common they were unhappy because the service of their vehicle was not free. Just because they do not wish to lower their prices to match what you think you should pay does not make them a bad business. Those guys are not afraid to say what they think and do not hide on their computer more

No Gimmicks 6/28/2011

Love this dealership Dan Pasenell at this dealership did a great job. No gimmicks. Emailed me cost and it was exactly that, including my trade in. Finance person was great as well. Could not have made this purchase any easier and ZERO pressure. This dealership is under new ownership and they are awesome. Would recommend them to anyone. Negative reviews I think come from old owners. Just an FYI. more

WOW! 6/21/2011

WOW I FOUND A CAR BUYERS HEAVEN!! The staff was great sraight forward they even told me they were making a good deal on me. The sales guy even invited me over to his house for a BBQ. I was shocked by just how cool the staff was at his party. They told me about how horrible 10% of the customers are He said they just beg cry and complain in an effort to get a better deal. I noticed that a few people on here wrote a bad complaint. I love the cheapskate that wanted free tires because he wore his out? All to often people whine and cry because they do not get their way!! I must say that they proably handle a few thousand customers a month which are proably as blown away by just how nice they are. So if your what they call a grinder or a jack or just a cheapskate go somewhere else and complain about them!! These are some cool cats that get paid for selling not showing if you want to look at cars go to the car show more

Great deal 6/15/2011

I really liked the way the Avalon looked so we decided to test drive it. We went to Kearny Mesa and Mossy and their sales departments were terrible!!!!! First - we couldn't get anyone to help us. They seemed really put out when we wanted to test drive a car. And they were rude. The time i spent waiting around for someone to talk to me in finance - was not worth it! We found that the finance people actually cared less about customer service than the sales people did. So we were going to give up until a friend told me to check out the dealership in Poway. I swear i was ready to start from scratch and find another make of car until i went here. The sales people were friendly and actually knew what they were talking about. They even stayed late taking care of us and made sure we got everything we needed. This place was a life saver! - i got a great deal!....and i LOVE my car!!!!!! more

I recommend heading to Toyota of Poway 6/9/2011

After shopping around for a while I finally purchased our new Avalon from Toyota of Poway. The main reason I ended up buying from Poway was the customer service. I worked with Alex Mattaliano who was very knowledgeable and not pushy. It was a nice change from other dealerships I recently shopped at. The finance manager (Al) was helpful and knowledgeable. Over the years I have purchased many cars, this was the first time in a long time I actually left a car dealership and didn't feel like someone just robbed me. If you are looking for a toyota I recommend heading to Poway. more
