Great coffee! 4/9/2006

Tate Street Coffee is a fun place to go get coffee and chill out with friends. Even if you are alone, it is fun to people-watch or read the fun things on the walls. They have great desserts -- I think they buy them from a local bakery, rather than making them in-house. If you enjoy trying beans from all over the world, you can buy them at Tate Street Coffee. Parking can be a chore, but if the weather is nice, there is plenty to look at as you stroll back to your car. more

Excellent Coffee 1/13/2006

Tate Street Coffee is one of the best independent coffee shops Ive been to. The staff and the coffee are always consistantly good. My only complaint is that their espresso drinks always come in what would be a small size at other shops. This is a great pace to study and hang out. more

Tate Street 10/24/2005

There are some very strange looking people on Tate Street most of the time. It is right in the middle of the University, so you see all the students milling around and loitering. The Tate Street coffee house is very nice despite all of that. They have daily specials and you can sit and do a lot of people watching. more
