After my first experience at Spa Gregories, I was not going to go back. My wife talked me into giving it a second chance. Unfortunately, this visit was worse than the last. The men's dressing room was disgusting. It looked and smelled as if it weren't cleaned in some time, the fixtures were very rusty, in a dangerous way. The steam room smelled of mildew. That was just in the dressing room. The QUIET room was even worse. I was hoping for QUIET in the QUIET room. Unfortunately, the conversation was not kept to a QUIET level, by the guests NOR staff, someone was reading one of those electronic books that lit up the entire room. One of the staff members, who I think was special needs - which didn't mean anything to me, but she seemed to have a hard time not bumping into things or slamming doors or making unpleasant noises. Why would you have her work in the QUIET room. Maybe in the front lobby greeting guests would have been better. Then the NUT machine.... PLEASE TAKE THAT OUT OF THE QUIET ROOM! The last thing a person wants to hear when they are supposed to be in a dark and QUIET "relaxing" room, is the operation of this kind of gadget and the sound effects people make while chomping away on nuts. My massage therapist was better than my first therapist, I didn't feel violated, however, it still wasn't the "relaxing" feeling I was hoping for.Bottom line, I will not be going back. I'm sticking to Burke Williams, it's worth the extra buck to avoid experiences like this.
