Dr. Karen McNeill is truly the best dentist in the Seattle area. My friend is a general dentist (who is currently practicing in California) was kind enough to offer me these insider tips. First, advanced cosmetic dentistry (porcelain veneers, smile enhancement, smile makeovers etc.) is really not taught at the university/college dental school level. Second, most practicing general dentists do not or only minimally invest in further training after dental school. This is why I went to Dr. McNeill. She is a Fellow Member of LVI, which is the most extensive school in the US for advanced dentistry. There are only a couple of hundred Fellow Members with this distinction in the US. This is where all dentists aspire to attend for their post doctorate dental school training. Attending this school is a big deal, but becoming a Fellow member of this school is the pinnacle of dentistry. More importantly, she is highly experienced having practiced for almost 20 years. This means she has routinely done whole mouth reconstructions (aka...""extreme smile makeovers""). Not some spring chicken or fresh out the gate ready to try newly learned techniques on unsuspecting patients. This is why I completely trusted my health care to someone who really knows what she is doing. Make no mistake about it, Dr. McNeill is one of the most highly trained dentists in the area. As for my results, I love my new smile makeover. My smile looks exactly how I had imagined it prior. Dr McNeill also stresses the importance of a healthy smile for the long term, as the priority. Although I had lot of work done, she is very conservative in her approach. This I appreciate when it comes to my health. It's clich?, but I look ten years younger. It's amazing what a nice smile can do. Many thanks to Dr. McNeill, a true artist & dental maestro.
