Best vent cleaner 11/13/2007

Kevin (owner of Silver Lining) did a great job cleaning our fireplace a year ago. Last month, I was on his website and noticed that he also did dryer vent cleaning. We scheduled an appointment. He cleaned out 6 years worth of lint and dog hair. My dryer now works like it is brand new (it is 8 years old). It had been taking me up to 2 hours to dry a half-load. Now a load dries in 30 minutes! We are so pleased with the result. The low cst to have our vent cleaned we will surley recoup in our utility bill savings. We highly recommend Silver Lining. Knowledgable, efficent, very professional 9/10/2007

Mr LaVoie (Kevin) arrived on time, was very pleasant and got started right away. I had both my dryer vent and chimney cleaned. It was apparent the cleaning was done well and completely. I mean he even cleaned the ember screen. He also looks for any potiental problems and/or safety issues which in my case there were none. I feel I received value in his service and I will call him again. Oh! yea! He really dosen't have any binoculars. Do yourself a favor call Kevin. Thanks again Kevin. Fast and Friendly! 2/3/2007

I would highly recommend Silver Lining as your first choice in Chimney Sweeps! Their office staff is extremely friendly and willing to listen to the description of your problem(s). The owner is VERY QUICK to return the message once left and set up a time to come out and see what is going on. Their fees are affordable and won't break your budget. Once at your home, they are extremely knowledgeable and MORE than willing to answer your questions and put your mind at ease. They had NO problems getting on my roof and seeing what was going on from the top. This is the SECOND time we have used them in the last 3 years and they WILL have our repeat business again and again. Pros: Friendly, Punctual, Affordable. more

Poor customer service 10/17/2006

While the person who came out seemed knowledgable, his over-all custoer service fell short of expectations when he refused to climb my 2 story roof. Instead, he inspected my chimney via binoculars from ground-level. While I understand the reluctance to climb a wet roof, I can not excuse his reluctance to climb it on a later date. Also, he stressed the importance of having my chimney reinspected by him during the spring. I can only surmise that he planned upon climbing my roof at that time but I'm unwilling to allow myself to be disappointed a 2nd time.\r Pros: Knowledgable Cons: Poor Customer Service more
