To the lady who drove 2000 miles they have out of town packages, seems like you lied about your destination, cause I live in maricopa and its a least 50 miles away. Saban gave me my options and cars to pick from and I made my decision just like you Lady. They have three day packages with more miles, 100 mile a day car are in town local use, they ask you these questions at time of rental. Thanks Saban's you had a car when I need it. I always rent SUVs from saban because they let me do a cash deposit. They make it very clear that the 99/day rate I pay only comes with one hundred miles free. The last lady must have not been paying attention. She sounds very vengeful. There are always two sides to every story. I enjoy doing business with sabans and would recommend them to everyone. more

I rented a vehicle from them for 3 days. When I took the vehicle, they didn't put how many miles it had on it when I left in the contract, it was a $99 a day rental. For day, NOT for miles. Upon returning the vehicle, they tried to say that I drove it more than 2000 miles and owed them $1900! When I refused to pay and told them that if they charged it to my bank I would have the payment cancelled, the OWNER began to threaten and curse at me! He made several very crude remarks about me and my husband. He locked my husband and I out of the building and refused to speak to me, saying that he was filing felony charges for nonpayment. He has already taken $800 out of my bank account. This is the most unprofessional, rude, vulgar, and dishonest establishment I have EVER done business with, and I will NEVER return. I have already hired a lawyer and am working on a civil suit. I have also contacted the local news. I highly discourage usage of this company. I wouldnt rent from this place again i would rather walk to San Diego . They placed there insurance on me with out my approval they had copys of my Gieco insurance which my policy covers rentals , which they new . Then i extended rental one day and went over the miles , which i called 2 days in advanced and requested additional miles which the Manager said no problem . When i returned they charged me .79 cents per mile which added another 150 bucks with like an additional 75 bucks for having one day over . They shafted me .they will not give unlimited miles out of state will only give 1000 you can go there and back no havin fun . I don,t have a credit card and was having a hard time finding someone who would rent to me. I opened the phone book and found Saban rent a car. I was able to rent a car by putting down just 250 in cash. They took my rental fees from my deposit and i got the balance back in cash when i returned. The car i rented was a little older but ran well and saved me money. I was very happy with their service. more

They had a bunch of different cars, trucks and vans. I rented a pickup from uhaul that ended up costing me 400 for the week. I rented the same size truck from sabans for the week and it only cost me 200. Pros: Lots of vehicles to choose from more

Saban's rent-a-car has BAD business. I rented a cavalier that ran terribly. The offer seemed good for a week though $129. but they charged $8.00 a day for insurance which I didnt agree to pay but they said I signed a paper. That was nothing compared to them repoing the car without my knowledge. When I called to they said I would have to pay an additonal $75.00 for impound! The car was sitting in their lot. What impound? They ended up charging me $300 for 8 days of rental. totally overpriced! The manager Mike continually hung up on me when I tried to find out who his superior is, not to mention was very rude and insulted me with "" are you stupid? cant you read?"" and gave me a bogus address to the company headquarters. I could go on but all you need to know is theses people are not professional and will get over on you any way they can.
